Repair/Warranty Engineer 2

As a Repair/Warranty Engineer 2 within SprintRay’s Product Care team, you will play a critical role in ensuring Repair operations deliver high reliability and efficiency. This mid-level, hands-on role involves maintaining and improving data systems, supporting AI systems integration, developing SOPs and repair procedures, and driving process improvements. Cross-functional collaboration with teams in hardware, software, quality, and manufacturing to improve product repairability and reliability of SprintRay products

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead continuous process optimization across domestic and global Repair centers
  • Troubleshoot and document root cause and failure modes for SprintRay hardware
  • Maintain and enhance Microsoft platforms (PowerApps, Power BI), including AI system support and analytics
  • Develop and standardize SOPs, repair procedures, and best practices in collaboration with R&D, Product, Quality, and global counterparts. 
  • Collaborate with R&D, Product, and global counterparts to ensure repairability of new designs.
  • Sustain and evolve data collection, automation, and reporting tools used in Repair operations 
  • Effectively communicate your insights to cross-functional team members and management
  • Leadership responsibilities will include standing in for management
  • Collect and analyze data to identify trends and recommend corrective actions

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology (or Technical Trade School degree with equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years experience in troubleshooting and documenting root cause and failure mode analysis of electromechanical products (3D printers preferred)
  • Recommend, design, and implement dynamic tools that guide the repair of the SprintRay 3D Printer product lines
  • Experience using industrial and systems engineering methodology and lean manufacturing to offer insight into improving processes
  • Experience working with databases, data analytics, and automation
  • Advanced skills with Office 365 tools, PowerApps, Power BI
  • Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication abilities

Salary Range: $85,000 - $95,000
