PT Receptionist - Top of the Rock at Rockefeller Center

Top of the Rock is an iconic New York City attraction, offering breathtaking views of the city skyline from the Observation Deck. We are seeking dedicated and customer-oriented individuals to join our team!
This part-time position is ideal for someone with 1+ years of relevant experience looking for a stable place to work, learn, and develop. We are a cross functional team looking for someone eager to make a lasting contribution!
Business Hours: Monday - Sunday, 7AM-12AM
Typical Work Schedule: 7:00AM-3:00PM/4:00PM and 3:00PM-12:00AM
What you will be doing:
- Welcome guests, receive and catalog guest information, orient new clients, and provide answers to inquiries.
- Respond to all requests in a courteous, professional manner at all times. Via in person, phone, email, or online communications.
- Ensure reception area is kept neat, professional, and clean.
- Perform administrative duties on an ad hoc basis.
- May support the onsite business center, which may include: office supply stocking, copy/print, conference room setup up, pantry inventory, or light facilities, or mail.
What we need from you:
- 1+ year experience in administrative or office services.
- A positive and professional attitude with a willingness to go above and beyond for our customers.
- Ability to handle physical duties (carrying and/or moving 40lbs) associated with the job - lifting, bending, etc.
- To be able to work both independently and in a team setting successfully.
- The capability to use/learn technology such as: handheld scanners, Adobe/Word, email, professional messaging (Teams, Slack, Google).
- An ability to be bright, articulate, and neat in appearance.
Physical Demands:
- Approximately 50% of the time this position requires the below physical demands.
- Fine and/or gross motor skills, including the ability to grasp, lift and/or carry or otherwise move packages on a standard wheeled cart with a load capacity of 60 lbs.
- Ability to walk, bend, kneel, stand, and/or sit for an extended period of time.
- Manual dexterity is required for operating office machinery (phone, copy machines, binding equipment, etc.).
- Ability to lift or move 40 lbs. or greater frequently.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Must be able to utilize computer monitor and keyboard.
