Workplace Experience Ambassador

The Workplace Experience Ambassador will help to elevate the office experience by providing personalized, client-centric services and administrative support. The individual will work proactively with Experience Team to provide curated experiences, general office support and hospitality services. This team member will serve as a “one-stop shop” and ensure all requests are completed to client specifications. This person is the warm welcome and fond farewell, creating memorable experiences for our client and clients’ guests. The Workplace Experience Ambassador at SPS Global specializes in enhancing the event experience for clients and visitors by providing dedicated support during onsite events. This role is crucial in event support with setups, coordinating with various teams to ensure smooth execution, and maintaining high standards of hospitality to create memorable experiences.
Overall, this position continuously offers the highest level of service to all client and SPS employees while maintaining a professional image of the company by providing prompt, courteous and efficient service.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Event Planning and Coordination:
o Coordinate with Facilities Management and other relevant teams to ensure all aspects of the event are executed flawlessly.
o Support with equipment and furniture arrangements according to event specifications.
• Risk Management and Security Oversight:
o Identify and escalate potential security risks or privacy concerns.
o Participate in the company’s Crisis Response Team, ready to guide clients and guests in emergencies
• Client Engagement and Hospitality Management:
o Provide a warm and professional welcome to all event attendees, setting a positive tone for the event.
o Offer personalized services during events, such as catering to specific guest needs and managing special requests.
o Engage proactively with attendees, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout the event.
• Onsite Support and Logistics Management:
o Monitor event proceedings to address and resolve issues promptly.
o Ensure all event-related setups are completed on time and meet client expectations.
o Handle any last-minute adjustments to event plans, including changes in layout, timing, or services.
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one year of prior experience in event support, hospitality, or a similar client-facing role.
• Strong ability to coordinate multiple tasks and manage time effectively.
• Technical/computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, digital ticketing, conference room scheduling programs, etc.
Competencies:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High level of customer service and ability to work well under pressure.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently when required.
• Intermediate to Expert proficiency with MS Office including Excel and Powerpoint.
Physical Demands:
• Ability to lift or move heavy items up to 40 lbs. as needed for event setups.
• Active role requiring significant standing, walking, and moving around during events.
Work Schedule:
• Regular working hours will be 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Pacific Time) Monday through Friday.
• Event support may be required outside of these hours:
o Scheduled start time may be adjusted to a later start so total hours for the day do not exceed 8 hours, and/or
• The Overtime rate will be paid according to California state law.
Travel: None or negligible.

Pay Range
$25 - $26 USD
