Schedule: 25 hours/week | Shifts between 7:30AM–3:30PM or 3:00PM–11:00PM/12:00AM
Business Hours: Monday–Sunday, 7:00AM–12:00AM

Top of the Rock at Rockefeller Center is one of New York City’s most celebrated attractions, offering panoramic skyline views and a refined, world-class guest experience.
To support peak season operations, we’re seeking engaging, customer-focused Retail Supervisors to support the day-to-day operations of our retail and gift shop environment. In this role, you’ll help lead the sales floor, support team performance, maintain visual merchandising standards, and ensure every guest interaction is welcoming, seamless, and memorable.
As a Retail Supervisor, you help drive sales performance, maintain operational standards, and create a welcoming retail environment in a fast-paced, high-traffic setting.

What You’ll Do
Guest Experience & Sales Support
- Assist guests with merchandise selection, purchases, and transaction support
- Deliver friendly, professional, and elevated customer service at all times
- Support sales goals and KPI targets through guest engagement and team collaboration
Team & Operational Support
- Help oversee daily retail operations and support overall team performance
- Lead by example while promoting a positive and collaborative work environment
- Support store opening, closing, and operational procedures
Merchandising & Inventory
- Maintain visually appealing displays, signage, and seasonal merchandising presentations
- Restock and organize merchandise to ensure the sales floor remains guest-ready
- Support inventory control, cycle counts, and loss prevention efforts
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to leadership
Retail Systems & Store Standards
- Operate POS systems and troubleshoot minor issues when necessary
- Maintain store presentation and operational standards
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and operational standards

- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently when needed
- Previous retail, merchandising, or leadership experience preferred
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 1–2 years of retail, merchandising, or customer-facing experience preferred
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience is a plus
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn POS systems and retail technology
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak business periods
- Professional appearance and adherence to company standards and policies
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry, or move merchandise and supplies up to 50 lbs. using appropriate equipment
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and remain active for extended periods
- Ability to operate registers, computers, and other retail equipment
Compensation:
The expected compensation is an estimate, and the final offer will depend on skills, experience, and other job-related factors.
Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI):
No AI or automated decision-making tools are used to screen, assess, or select candidates for this role. SPS uses the Greenhouse applicant tracking system, which does not apply AI in these parts of the hiring process.
