Overview of Job/Team:
SpyCloud is seeking a Product Designer to build high-quality, usable and eye-catching product user experiences and visual UI designs across SpyCloud’s product lines.
You will partner deeply with Product Managers and Engineers to understand and help shape product requirements related to UI/UX including interpreting functional descriptions into usable UX layouts and user workflows that optimize for usability, customer satisfaction and eliciting that wow factor that world-class online experiences deliver.
You will work in SpyCloud’s data and analytics-centric offerings, helping users find their way to critical cyber-security data to help them fight cyber crime as it happens. You will help oversee SpyCloud’s development teams’ use of your designs as they build reusable UI components for SpyCloud’s products.
You excel at making high‑impact decisions with imperfect information, leading without formal authority, and thriving amid chaos and complexity. Balancing deep fluency in building high-quality user experiences as you translate SpyCloud’s vision into actionable plans that fuel growth, delight customers, and empower every product team. As an AI‑forward company, SpyCloud expects you to leverage AI to gather and interpret UI/UX related requirements, build and refine designs and participate in rapid development of prototyped features and products to engage customers and gather their feedback in the effort to refine your designs.
What You’ll Do:
- Contribute to net-new product development—from early requirements and audience insights to low- and high-fidelity prototypes and feasibility exploration
- Drive the design of UI/UX features and workflows from discovery to delivery across multiple modules and products within our unified platform
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders throughout the agile process—including participation in sprint planning, refinement, and QA
- Help build and maintain our design system and component library, including support for dark and light mode themes in partnership with engineering.
- Design and iterate on data-rich dashboards and visualizations, crafting experiences that help users and makes sense of high-volume data.
- Translate technical workflows into elegant and intuitive UI/UX that builds trust and drives adoption.
- Conduct customer interviews and design feedback sessions, incorporating insights into iterative improvements
- Identify and document visual discrepancies from design or interaction bugs, collaborating with QA and engineering to resolve issues and maintain high design quality
- Create and maintain well organized Figma files, including wireframes, prototypes, specifications, and Jira tickets.
- Bring a strategic mindset to prioritization, design tradeoffs, and iterative testing, helping teams move fast without compromising quality.
Create space for capturing metrics in your design and using those metrics to improve the experiences for your users.
What We’re Looking For:
- 4–7+ years of experience as a product designer, ideally in B2B/SaaS environments, designing for both technical and non-technical users (cybersecurity experience a plus)
- Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end product design, from UX strategy to polished UI—especially for data-rich, complex applications
- Fluent in Figma, with experience in component libraries, rapid prototyping, and managing clean, organized files
- Comfortable working across multiple products and user types simultaneously, balancing priorities and adapting to different use cases
- Experience contributing to or maintaining a design system, with a passion for creating shared patterns and scalable frameworks
- Proficient in design QA, partnering with engineers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation, and logging bugs or discrepancies
- Familiar with agile tools and workflows, including Jira, with a proactive approach to documentation and ticket hygiene
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal—you can articulate design rationale, influence stakeholders, and adapt to feedback
- Confident presenting work to leadership and customers, leading conversations, and incorporating insights into design iterations
- Comfortable in ambiguity, with a track record of driving projects from discovery to delivery with minimal oversight
- Strong understanding of accessibility standards, responsive design, and best practices for inclusive, scalable interfaces
- Collaborative and self-directed, with a bias toward action, continuous learning, and cross-functional teamwork
- Experience in UI Engineering a plus
