As a Senior Integration Engineer, you will play a critical role in the long-term success of SpyCloud’s most strategic customers and alliance partners. You’ll serve as a trusted technical advisor and integration architect, focused on delivering scalable API integrations, automation workflows, and security-focused data solutions that help customers maximize the value of our platform across cybersecurity, fraud prevention, identity protection, and threat intelligence use cases.

This role blends deep technical expertise, software development, security engineering, and high-impact customer engagement. You’ll work closely with stakeholders—from developers and security engineers to architects, CISOs, and executive leadership—to ensure SpyCloud is seamlessly integrated and delivering measurable value within enterprise security ecosystems.

 

What You'll Do:

Strategic Partnership

  • Partner closely with Product Team members, Customer Success Managers, Sales Engineers, and Engineering teams to drive customer retention, growth, adoption, and satisfaction.
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor for strategic enterprise customers and alliance partners.
  • Lead technical planning sessions, architecture reviews, and business reviews to align SpyCloud usage with evolving enterprise security priorities and business objectives.
  • Build strong relationships with security leaders, architects, developers, fraud teams, identity teams, and executive stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to expand customer value through integrations, automation, and operational efficiencies.

API & Data Integration

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade integrations across identity, logging, security, ITSM, cloud, and SaaS platforms.
  • Build automation workflows using both low-code/no-code platforms (e.g., Tines, Okta Workflows, ServiceNow) and custom software solutions.
  • Develop and support production-quality software, scripts, and tools using Python (preferred) and other modern programming languages.
  • Design and implement scalable integration architectures utilizing REST APIs, webhooks, OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect, and event-driven frameworks.
  • Collaborate with InfoSec, IAM, IT, DevOps, Security Operations, and Engineering teams to identify integration and automation opportunities.
  • Implement and document reusable integration patterns, deployment templates, and automation playbooks to support scalable security and IT operations.
  • Enhance visibility and operational effectiveness through data pipelines, enrichment workflows, and log integrations with Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, Elastic, and similar platforms.

Technical Enablement & Support

  • Develop, deploy, and support demonstration environments, proof-of-concepts, and reference architectures that enable Sales and Solutions Engineering teams to clearly demonstrate the value of SpyCloud products and integrations.
  • Create and maintain reusable technical assets, including integration guides, API documentation, architecture diagrams, scripts, deployment templates, and best-practice playbooks.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members on integration, automation, security, and software development best practices.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, cloud platforms, security frameworks, automation capabilities, and integration methodologies.

Product Feedback & Collaboration

  • Participate in roadmap discussions and help evolve SpyCloud’s platform, APIs, and integration capabilities based on enterprise customer needs and industry trends.
  • Actively participate in development planning and engineering processes to evaluate, estimate, and prioritize integration initiatives.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to improve developer experience, platform extensibility, scalability, and customer adoption.
  • Advocate for customer requirements while balancing strategic product direction and technical feasibility.

 

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in software development, integration engineering, solutions engineering, security engineering, technical account management, solutions architecture, or other customer-facing technical roles. 
  • Experience designing, building, and deploying production software, integrations, APIs, or automation solutions is required.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise security ecosystems, including SIEM, SOAR, IAM, cloud security, threat intelligence, and fraud prevention platforms.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise integrations using APIs, webhooks, automation platforms, and custom software solutions.
  •  Strong Python development skills preferred, with experience in languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, Java, C#, or similar considered a plus.
  • Experience with software development best practices, including Git, testing methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC) principles.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Ability to independently manage priorities while contributing to cross-functional team objectives.
  • Confident working with developers, architects, security engineers, CISOs, and senior technology leaders.

 

Nice to Have:

  • Hands-on experience with Tines, Splunk, Splunk SOAR, Microsoft Sentinel, Cortex XSOAR, ServiceNow, or Okta Workflows.
  • Experience supporting enterprise security operations, fraud prevention, identity management, digital risk protection, or threat intelligence use cases.
  • Experience designing data pipelines, enrichment workflows, and security analytics integrations.
  • Familiarity with compliance and regulatory frameworks, including:
    • SOC 2
    • ISO 27001
    • NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF)
    • NIST 800-53
    • CIS Controls
    • GDPR
    • HIPAA
    • PCI-DSS
    • Microsoft CCF
  • Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, Azure Security Engineer, AWS Security Specialty, GIAC, Splunk, or Okta certifications.

 

Base Salary Range: $127,000 – $165,000

The salary range reflects the expected base compensation for a fully qualified candidate at this level based on experience, qualifications, and market data at the time of posting.
