Executive Assistant to Chief Executive Officer
Location: Littleton, CO
Status: Full-Time, Regular, Exempt | In-Office

Position Overview
Spyder Construction is seeking a high-performing Executive Assistant to serve as the strategic right-hand to the Chief Executive Officer. This role goes beyond traditional administrative support. It is a true partnership focused on maximizing the CEO’s effectiveness across all areas of the business. The ideal candidate is an anticipatory thinker, exceptionally organized, calm under pressure, and thrives in dynamic, high-growth environments. Success in this role requires strong emotional intelligence, empathy, and good instincts for reading people and situations. Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Executive Support
- Act as a force multiplier to the CEO by anticipating needs and proactively solving problems.
- Serve as a gatekeeper and liaison—aligning the CEO’s time and attention with top priorities.
- Prepare briefing materials, agendas, and summaries for high-level meetings.
- Track progress against key deliverables and flag potential issues early.
- Represent the CEO with professionalism and discretion in both internal and external communications.
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality, integrity, and sound judgment at all times.
Operational & Administrative Excellence
- Manage complex calendar scheduling and prioritization.
- Coordinate travel arrangements, including detailed itineraries and logistics.
- Monitor and manage email inboxes, flagging or drafting responses as needed.
- Oversee expense reports, vendor contracts, and purchase approvals.
- Support company initiatives and special projects with precision and follow-through.
Relationship Stewardship
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders—clients, partners, and internal team members.
- Track key dates, commitments, and communications to ensure follow-up and follow-through.
Culture & Personal Support
- Stay composed and adaptable amid shifting priorities or fast-paced demands.
- Align closely with the CEO’s leadership style and values.
- Provide personal support, such as scheduling family-related logistics, appointments, or home services (as appropriate and agreed upon).
Preferred Qualifications
- 5–7+ years of experience supporting C-level executives, preferably in a high-growth or entrepreneurial setting.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- High emotional intelligence and a natural ability to anticipate needs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage confidential information with integrity.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, calendar management tools, and collaboration platforms.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive salary: $85,000 – $110,000 (depending on experience)
