Squadformers is seeking a talented, driven Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in support of our exciting start-up clientele.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the development of innovative solutions that enhance user experiences.You'll be working with one of our portfolio clients, contributing to a range of innovative projects spanning edtech, kids tech, intentional relationship apps, and cutting-edge AI applications. We're looking for a well-rounded, full-stack senior software engineer who is capable of executing independently across a variety of features, some of which may leverage cutting-edge AI technology.
What you'll be doing:
- Be part of a US-based remote team, which means you are remote 100% of the time.
- Implementing new features, redesigning or removing existing ones, and fixing bugs.
- Working on missions for our clients to help improve product velocity, deliver and help build delightful products.
- Collaborate and communicate with your squad members on a daily basis to share knowledge and expertise.
- Contribute to a fast-moving startup and have a meaningful, direct impact.
- Be a part of a team that values each other and is interested in the professional and personnel progression of one another.
What we are looking for:
- 7+ years experience applying ML tools/algorithms over large datasets.
- 3+ years experience applying GenAI and LLMs to both analytical and generative use cases.
- 7+ years experience with Python on the backend as well as understanding of frontend concepts
- 7+ years experience with software development lifecycles, agile or lean environments.
- 3+ years experience building ML infrastructure in AWS/GCP/Azure or other ML serving platforms (e.g. MLFlow, W&B, Metaflow)
- Hands-on experience in GenAI benchmarking and evaluation
- Hands-on experience with integrating and serving RAG for production systems
- 3+ years experience with recommender systems
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering
- 5+ years experience with software development lifecycles, agile or lean environments.
- Able to continuously evaluate emerging developments across the LLM ecosystem and drive practical adoption
Pay: $170-200K DOE and location.
