Definition: As the VP, Supply Chain, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you direct overall supply chain operations, including Inventory Management, Distribution of finished goods and Logistics.

Reports to: Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Supply Chain team responsible for inventory management (raw material and finished goods), logistics and fulfillment for a 24/7 Manufacturing Operation
  • Represent the Supply Chain function at the Operations leadership level
  • Balance supply and demand to meet, or exceed, established KPIs and achieve business unit inventory targets
  • Manage the 3PL service providers to minimize cost and maximize service levels
  • Responsible for product line inventory projections, strategy, execution and short- and long-term planning including raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods
  • Lead and support global Supply Chain improvement projects and execute Supply Chain policies and strategies
  • Lead supplier communication, negotiation and development
  • Leadership of organizational supply chain financial and process improvement targets
  • Oversee the daily workflow of the department, recruiting and training staff, health & safety compliance, providing performance evaluations and handling disciplinary matters in accordance with policies

Essential Competencies

  • 10+ years relevant experience leading supply chain, inventory management, and logistics
  • Self-motivated, strong leadership skills, and the ability to challenge the status quo
  • Excellent Master Production Schedule/MRP (Netsuite preferred) knowledge with a detailed understanding of how to optimize master data settings that optimize the planning
  • Strong customer focus and results-oriented ability to get results
  • Demonstrated negotiation, problem solving and process improvement skills
  • Ability to make quality business decisions under uncertaintyExperience in leading and managing diverse teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English. 

Desirable Requirements

  • Experienced with international distribution and business development preferred
  • Materials planning experience preferred
  • Strong background within the Garment/Manufacturing/Production industries preferred
  • Experience in a start-up environment is preferred
