Associate Director Data Architect, Data & Analytics (SSCG Media Group LLC, Philadelphia, PA)

Design, develop, and optimize data architectures that support business intelligence, analytics, and reporting needs. Develop and implement data management frameworks for gathering, integrating, and analyzing structured and unstructured data from multiple sources. Define data models, schemas, and ETL processes to facilitate efficient data processing and accessibility. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Build and maintain data pipelines and warehouses, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance. Troubleshoot and resolve data integration and processing issues, including file interface discrepancies, ingestion failures, and technical roadblocks. Develop and maintain documentation for data architecture, governance policies, and best practices. Work closely with analysts to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility for analytics and decision-making. Research and recommend emerging data technologies and methodologies to enhance data processing and analytics capabilities. Telecommuting permitted 2 days per week. When not telecommuting, must report to SSCG Media Group LLC, 30 S 17th St, Philadelphia, PA. Salary: $152,818 - $160,000 per year.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related field, plus 5 years of professional experience as a Database Architect, Data Engineer, or any occupation/position/job title involving data governance and database design.

In lieu of a Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of experience, the employer will accept a Master's degree or U.S. equivalent in Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related field, plus 3 years of professional experience as a Database Architect, Data Engineer, or any occupation/position/job title involving data governance and database design.

Must also have experience in the following: 3 years of professional experience identifying, designing, and implementing internal process improvements including automating manual processes and optimizing data delivery. 3 years of professional experience building infrastructure including extraction, transformation, and loading of data. 2 years of professional experience developing AI data privacy and compliance strategies, including GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA regulations, as they relate to AI data with AI strategists. 2 years of professional experience developing and supporting a cloud data warehouse to support data-driven analysis. 2 years of professional experience creating and maintaining data pipelines architecture, architecting data tech stacks from end-to-end, and managing user roles and access to data platforms. 2 years of professional experience evaluating and creating data tools to build and optimize media reporting and data deliverables. 2 years of professional experience building and optimizing data pipelines using Talend and building automation routines supporting data transformation, metadata, dependency and workload management.
