
Renewals Team Lead
The Renewals Team Lead is responsible for leading and developing a high-performing team that manages the company’s Global Renewals Pipeline. This leader will drive team performance, optimize processes, and ensure a seamless, effective engagement model that aligns with the company’s growth strategy and customer retention goals.
Working closely with sales, customer success leadership, and executives, this individual will provide strategic direction, mentorship, and process optimization to enable the team to execute renewals successfully while maintaining a strong customer experience.
As a champion for customer retention, this leader will create visibility and urgency around renewal execution, coaching team members to negotiate and close deals effectively while securing long-term customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing renewals team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and excellence.
- Successfully manage high-volume renewals and optimize customer engagement strategies to ensure high customer satisfaction and retention.
- Manage the renewals pipeline effectively, consistently delivering precise and accurate forecasts.
- Lead and develop teams of contractors and high-potential employees, driving them to achieve top performance and meet organizational goals.
- Support and guide team members in complex negotiations, helping them navigate customer conversations and secure favorable outcomes.
- Use CRM systems like Salesforce, Zendesk, or Zoho effectively to enhance customer relationship management and perform detailed data analysis.

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
- 4 years in renewals within a SaaS or software-driven organization
- 1+ years of leadership experience managing and developing high-performing teams, ideally in a high-volume renewals or customer retention role.
- Experience using CRM systems like Salesforce, Zendesk, or Zoho
- Very strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to effectively communicate to all levels of the organization
- Previous experience in an environment that required strong organizational skills
