Director, Revenue Accounting

Role Description
The Director of Revenue Accounting reports directly to the Controller and is integral to the financial health and operational efficiency of the company, specifically focusing on revenue recognition and order management. This role is responsible for leading the revenue accounting team to ensure accurate revenue reporting, compliance with global accounting standards, and the integration of data and processes from acquisitions.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and consistent billing and revenue data within Netsuite
- Lead the revenue accounting team to consistently meet or exceed the order approval service level agreements
- Ensure accurate validation and migration of all acquired company customer contracts and related revenue information into Netsuite

- Contract and legal acumen: Knowledge of the specific legal terms and conditions that are critical in software agreements, including licensing models, intellectual property rights, and key liability clauses.
- NetSuite & SFDC data expert: Leverages NetSuite and Salesforce expertise for business analytics and decision support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting Required
- Licensed CPA required
- Proven experience applying ASC 606 standards in a software company
- 4+ years in Accounting leadership
- Travel expected: <25%
