Canada

The most forward-thinking marketers choose StackAdapt to orchestrate high-impact campaigns across programmatic advertising and marketing channels.

Engineering at StackAdapt:
As an Engineer at StackAdapt, you will be directly involved in the development of our advertising platform, producing production-level code that will have a direct impact on the success of our product. You will work with large data sets and have exposure to modern tech stacks around GoLang, Ruby on Rails, React, GraphQL and more. StackAdapt’s engineering organization believes in working collaboratively and cross-functionally. You will get the opportunity to work in a diverse and flexible culture with dedicated career paths to help you succeed.

About the Team:
The Platform Ivy team is focused on building an experience in which users can optimize their digital advertising campaigns by blending an LLM chat-based co-pilot with the precision and control of traditional UI elements. Our approach ensures users can navigate complex setups by expressing their intentions, such as targeting specific audiences or setting campaign budgets, with the co-pilot automatically configuring the UI and offering clear, actionable suggestions based on campaign insights.

This is a front-end leaning full-stack role—we’re looking for someone who can work across the stack, but has particular experience with and interest in the front end.

StackAdapt is a Remote First company, we are open to candidates located anywhere in North America for this position.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • You’ll take ownership of Ivy’s evolving interface—our platform has many moving parts, which means lots of opportunity to augment it with Ivy’s capabilities; you’ll lead these user-facing efforts
  • You’ll own Ivy’s front-end architecture, building robust and reusable mechanisms through which Ivy will, for example, receive important user context, build custom workflows, and execute actions on the user’s behalf
  • You’ll contribute to the back-end systems that power and guide Ivy
  • You’ll work together with the wider team (engineering, QE, design, UX research, and other stakeholders) to solve challenges around creatively integrating Ivy across our platform
  • You’ll play an integral role in determining effective, intuitive, and unobtrusive approaches to surfacing Ivy’s features, including the exploration (and implementation) of new form factors for Ivy within our platform
  • You’ll identify bottlenecks and areas for performance improvement (both within Ivy and platform-wide) and recommend/implement solutions to address them
  • You’ll conduct technical interviews to identify and attract potential high-performing candidates

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • Significant experience building performant web applications with an outstanding user experience, particularly with React and Typescript
  • Significant experience working with large-scale back-end systems, particularly with Python and GraphQL
  • A proven track record of collaborating across engineering teams
  • Experience collaborating closely with product and design to ideate, implement, and iterate on high-impact, end-to-end product experiences
  • Experience building full-stack conversational UX such as chatbots including underlying backend technologies that powers them such as LLMs and RAG
  • Knowledge of AWS or equivalent cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, etc.)
  • Experience in the AdTech industry is a plus
