Sales Manager, Agency - Germany

We’re looking for an Agency Partner to drive our agency growth strategy in Germany. In this role, you will work closely with senior agency stakeholders to develop and expand their programmatic expertise while positioning StackAdapt as their go-to partner for innovative digital advertising solutions. Reporting to the Country Manager/Director, Sales DACH, you will focus on building deep partnerships with agencies, driving incremental revenue, and educating teams to maximise success on our platform.
StackAdapt is a remote first company, however our Sales teams are regionalised. For this role we are prioritising candidates located in Germany
What You'll Be Doing:
- Develop and execute a strategic growth plan for assigned media agencies, driving adoption of StackAdapt’s platform and increasing programmatic advertising revenue.
- Build and maintain relationships with senior agency leaders (C-level executives, Managing Directors) while also engaging operational teams like Media Planners and Buyers.
- Lead negotiations and close long-term commercial agreements, ensuring agency alignment with StackAdapt’s solutions.
- Educate and empower agencies to become advocates for StackAdapt through in-depth training and showcasing our platform's capabilities.
- Partner with internal teams, including Account Managers, Sales Managers and Product Specialists, to deliver tailored solutions and exceptional results for agency clients.
- Stay on top of industry trends, emerging technologies, and agency needs to proactively address challenges and identify growth opportunities.
- Present performance metrics and key insights to agencies, aligning on mutual goals and optimizing the use of our platform.
What You'll Bring to the Table
- 3+ years of experience in digital advertising or programmatic sales, with a strong focus on agency partnerships.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with fluency in German and English.
- Demonstrated success working with and growing accounts within media agency networks (HoldCo and independent).
- Proven ability to manage C-level relationships while influencing decision-making across all levels of an organization.
- Deep understanding of the programmatic ecosystem, agency operating models, and digital advertising technologies.
- Experience developing client pitch decks, negotiating contracts, and meeting or exceeding sales targets in a quota-carrying role
- A self-starter mentality with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to attend in-person client meetings and industry events.
