Account Executive - Midwest (MO, WI, MN, IA)

We're looking for an Account Executive to help grow our presence across the Midwest. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated seller who thrives on building new relationships, opening doors with agencies and brands, and turning early conversations into long-term partnerships. In this role, you’ll be responsible for both driving new programmatic advertising revenue and expanding existing client relationships. You’ll work closely with Account Managers and cross-functional teams to develop smart media strategies, guide clients through the programmatic landscape, and deliver measurable outcomes.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the hunt of new business, but also takes pride in building trusted partnerships and growing accounts over time.
StackAdapt is a remote-first company, however our Sales teams are regionalized. For this role, we are prioritizing candidates located in Missouri, Wisconsin, Minnesota, or Iowa.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Prospecting, pitching, and closing new programmatic advertising partnerships with agencies
- Building and executing a repeatable outbound motion to generate new pipeline and land new logos
- Managing and growing a portfolio of clients through strategic account planning and relationship development
- Collaborating with Account Managers to expand existing accounts and drive incremental revenue
- Navigating RFP processes and presenting compelling sales narratives through strong storytelling and deck building
- Maintaining accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and stage progression within CRM systems
What You'll Bring to the Table
- Extensive experience in the programmatic / adtech ecosystem, selling solutions to agencies
- Deep understanding of programmatic media planning, PMP/PG deals, and measurement frameworks
- Proven ability to prospect, build pipeline, and close new-logo business
- Confidence navigating RFPs, building client decks, and presenting compelling campaign strategies
- Strong discipline around forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM hygiene
- A structured approach to sales such as account planning, stakeholder mapping, or MEDDICC
