We are looking for an experienced leader to join our team as Senior Director of Field Marketing and ABX. Reporting to the CMO, this is a critical leadership role in StackAdapt’s growing marketing organization to lead the strategy and execution of high-impact field marketing, events, and account based experiences, directly supporting the company’s revenue growth goals. This individual will be responsible for building scalable go-to-market (GTM) strategies, collaborating closely with the revenue teams (core sales, vertical sales and enterprise) to drive pipeline growth and conversion. 

The Senior Director will oversee the events marketing team and be accountable for ambitious revenue targets tied to marketing initiatives while helping to automate the end to end process with AI. The ideal candidate brings prior leadership experience in high-tech, enterprise marketing, field marketing, and ABM, with a deep understanding of how to drive results in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

What You'll Be Doing:

Field Marketing:

  • Develop and lead experiential marketing strategy that supports revenue growth, focusing on high-impact regional and vertical-specific campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the sales and vertical teams to execute field marketing campaigns to drive pipeline creation and deal acceleration.
  • Lead and mentor the event marketing team to ensure that events (industry conferences,  hosted, roundtables, etc.) are effectively driving pipeline and aligned with business goals.
  • Own, scale and lead our annual summit: Conversion

Account-Based Experience (ABX):

  • Own and lead the ABM/ABX strategy, working closely with sales and marketing to identify and target accounts in enterprise, core and vertical sales
  • Design, execute, and optimize multi-channel ABX campaigns that drive engagement and conversion at every stage of the buyer journey.
  • Utilize AI, data, and insights to continuously refine ABX tactics to increase pipeline growth, revenue, and target account penetration, with special focus on scaling our enterprise motion. 

Go-to-Market Leadership:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Core Sales, Enterprise, Vertical Sales, Growth and Product Marketing) to define GTM plans and ensure tight alignment on goals and execution.
  • Develop scalable GTM motions with AI to maximize pipeline generation, deal velocity, and revenue growth.
  • Support revenue teams by delivering targeted field programs that fuel growth across both direct sales and partnerships.

Revenue & Performance Ownership:

  • Own and be accountable for achieving ambitious revenue targets, ensuring that marketing strategies are directly contributing to revenue growth.
  • Set and manage KPIs related to field marketing and ABX efforts, reporting regularly on campaign performance, ROI, and revenue impact.
  • Continuously optimize marketing investments by analyzing pipeline data and market feedback to drive improvements in strategy.

Leadership & Team Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire the events and enterprise marketing teams, ensuring that all activities are strategically aligned with broader company goals.
  • Foster a high-performance culture within the team, driving collaboration and accountability.
  • Champion an AI-driven and metrics-focused approach to marketing, ensuring that decisions are informed by data, insights and performance tracking.

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • Demonstrated experience in field marketing, account-based marketing, and enterprise marketing roles, with at least 7 years in a leadership position.
  • Proven experience in ad tech with a strong understanding of B2B mid-market and enterprise sales and buying behaviors.
  • Deep curiosity for learning and applying advancements in AI
  • Experience leading and scaling go-to-market strategies that directly impact revenue growth.
  • Strong background in event marketing and managing large-scale events and field campaigns.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with sales, partnerships, and marketing teams to drive alignment and results.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to leverage AI, data and insights to drive marketing decisions and optimizations.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and lead a high-performance marketing team.
  • Thrive working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
 

The compensation range listed for this role reflects the expected base salary for candidates located in Ontario, Canada. It is informed by market data and the approved budget for this position. StackAdapt maintains different compensation ranges for roles across other countries and regions, and final offers will be aligned to the candidate’s current location.

This range represents base salary only. Depending on the role, candidates may also be eligible for additional compensation such as annual bonuses, commissions, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Factors Influencing Final Compensation:

  • The final compensation offer will be determined by a variety of factors, which may include, but are not limited to: the candidate's specific experience, technical skills, knowledge, abilities, and relevant education, licensure, and certifications.
  • Other business factors, such as organizational needs and budget alignment, may also be considered in the final offer.

Ontario Salary Band

$200,000 - $237,000 CAD
