Senior Compensation Lead

As a Senior Compensation Lead, you will lead the design, evolution, and execution of StackAdapt’s global compensation strategy and programs. This role builds on deep compensation program management expertise while operating as a senior strategic partner to business leaders, People Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and People Operations. You will help ensure our compensation philosophy, programs, and processes scale with the business, remain market competitive, and support sound, data-driven talent decisions globally.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of global compensation programs that support StackAdapt’s compensation philosophy and business growth.
- Own the planning, execution, and administration of compensation programs and cycles for global employees, including annual and mid-year compensation review processes.
- Own third-party market research and survey participation, and translate benchmark data into actionable recommendations for leaders and stakeholders.
- Build and maintain compensation models, reporting, and tools in Excel and/or Google Sheets to support planning, analysis, and executive-ready recommendations.
- Partner cross-functionally with People Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, People Operations, and other stakeholders to improve compensation processes, tools, and decision quality across the employee lifecycle.
- Develop clear, compelling communication materials and guidance that help managers and employees understand compensation programs and decisions.
- Research emerging market practices and compensation trends, and help shape the future direction of StackAdapt’s global compensation strategy.
- Support broader total rewards initiatives as needed, including partnership on incentive and equity-related processes.
What You'll Bring to the Table
- A strong understanding of compensation best practices, current trends, and market benchmark data is preferred. International compensation experience is also preferred.
- Strategic technologist with a track record of identifying and integrating emerging tools, specifically generative AI and advanced analytics to automate workflows, enhance pay equity modelling, and scale global compensation programs.
- Proven analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and genuinely in-depth knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets, including building and maintaining complex models.
- Strong communication: ability to tailor information for audiences in concise, memorable and persuasive formats. Comfort with public speaking and listening for nuance in stakeholder engagements or
- Thrives under pressure: ambiguity and change are moments of opportunity for you. Able to drive positive action and focus on the right things regardless of external environments.
- Experience with building from the ground up: you approach projects with ownership and entrepreneurial spirit. You have seen what it takes to build and evolved into best practices on design and structure.
- Open to international travel occasionally.
