About the Role:
Leading strategy for cross functional AI projects such as scaling vector databases, Leading strategy for data collection efforts such as voice to text annotations for AI projects, Leading strategy for data processing engines for AI projects, Software development in
Python, Pytorch, Rest, Kubernetes, Airflow, and Flyte, Productionalize our Vision Language Model data pipelines by building robust, fault tolerant and safe AI solutions. Design and oversee the architecture of the data platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance for machine learning needs. Collaborate with cross-functional machine learning, robotics and onboard teams to understand data requirements and design appropriate solutions. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in data processing and storage for our computer vision machine learning pipelines. Set a culture of engineering excellence within the team and work closely with the management and customer teams to balance between speed of delivery and quality of engineering artifacts. Domestic travel required, 25%. Telecommuting permissible from any location within the US.
Requirements:
Master’s Degree or higher or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science or related field and five (5) years of experience in Computer science, specifically in Artificial Intelligence for autonomous vehicles or related role or in the job offered.
Skills:
Experience and/or education must include...
- Development skills with Python, Go and SQL to build data solutions for machine
learning platforms - Big Data technologies, data warehouses, data lakes, and orchestration services
- Hands on experience implementing data pipeline infrastructure for data ingestion and transformation near real time availability of data for applications, BI analytics, and ML pipelines.
- Experience designing optimized solutions for large AI/ML datasets for computer vision training needs.
- Data Lake technologies, data storage formats Parquet or Iceberg and Trino query engines and associated concepts for building optimized solutions at scale.
- Experience in designing data streaming and event-based data solutions such as Kafka, Kinesis, or SQS/SNS
- Experience with data pipelines tools Flink or Spark and orchestration tools Airflow or Flyte and data transformation tools SQLMesh or DBT.
Salary: $185,400 - $296,640/year; 40 hours/week
Location: 1001 Technology Drive, Mount Pleasant, PA 15666. Telecommuting permissible from any location within US.
