🚀 About Us

We’re StackBlitz!

We’re the team behind WebContainers, the groundbreaking technology that made it possible to run Node.js right in your browser. No installs, no setup, just instant dev environments. That innovation kickstarted our journey in 2019 and powers the blazing-fast online IDE used by over a million developers every month.

But we didn’t stop there.

We took everything we learned from building WebContainers and used it to create Bolt.new. The fastest way to go from idea to production without writing traditional code. Think of it as the Canva or Figma for full-stack applications: a next-gen, AI-powered builder that lets you create, edit, and deploy web and mobile apps instantly, right in your browser.

WebContainers make it possible. Bolt.new brings it to life. Together, they reimagine what it means to build software lowering the barrier to entry, speeding up workflows, and unlocking creativity for the next generation of builders.

We’re a globally distributed, fully remote team of passionate engineers, designers, and creatives building the future of software development. If you love shipping fast, solving real problems, and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible we’d love to meet you.

✨ About This Opportunity

As a Technical Writer, you’ll play a key role in shaping how our users learn, explore, and succeed with Bolt. You’ll turn complex product concepts into clear, accessible, and engaging documentation that empowers builders of all levels: from individual creators to enterprise teams.

This isn’t a traditional writing role. You’ll collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and CX to deeply understand our product, document features with precision, and maintain a scalable content ecosystem that grows with Bolt. You’ll also help define our content voice, evolve our Help Center, and ensure our users always have the right information, right when they need it.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of writing, product, and user experience—someone who can blend technical expertise with storytelling to create world-class documentation that drives adoption and customer success.

🛠️ How You'll Contribute

  • Become a Bolt product expert and document everything from core functionality to advanced use cases, integrations, and workflows
  • Audit, organize, and improve the Help Center structure and navigation for better discoverability and user experience
  • Build and maintain scalable documentation systems and templates that support growth and consistency
  • Translate product updates, release notes, and changelogs into clear, actionable customer-facing content
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to ensure all new features are accurately and clearly documented prior to launch
  • Write modular, structured content that supports chatbot responses and other in-product experiences
  • Partner with CX and Marketing to ensure alignment between documentation, enablement, and messaging
  • Use customer feedback, analytics, and support insights to identify documentation gaps and continuously improve the self-serve experience
  • Maintain an approachable, confident, and reassuring tone across all documentation to reflect the Bolt brand voice

đź’ˇ Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in technical writing, documentation management, or developer education, ideally within a SaaS or startup environment
  • Strong technical acumen—you’re comfortable learning complex systems and explaining them simply
  • Experience managing knowledge bases, documentation platforms, or content management systems
  • Proven ability to write for both technical and non-technical audiences, adapting tone and depth as needed
  • Familiarity with AI concepts, prototyping workflows, and coding tools
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for clarity, accuracy, and accessibility
  • Strong project management and organizational skills—you can juggle multiple deliverables without losing quality or focus
  • Collaborative, proactive, and resourceful—you take initiative, own your outcomes, and work well across teams
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills are required, as this role involves frequent collaboration with team members, stakeholders, and customers where English is the primary working language.

📌 A Few Notes

  • You do not need a college degree to apply

  • You do not need to be located in the U.S. — we’re remote-friendly

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
