About The Role:

We're hiring a Product Designer who wants to work across the full range of what a designer does. One day you might design a new feature in our analytics platform. The next, you might create a social campaign, a set of display ads, a trade show banner or a printed one-pager.

This is a true generalist role across product, marketing, advertising, social and print. You'll work closely with senior designers, product managers and engineers, and you'll own projects from early ideas through launch. It's a good fit if you have a few years of experience, enjoy moving between many kinds of design, and want your work to ship quickly.

You have an "anything is possible" mindset when faced with ambiguous and complex problems. You take pride in your work and skills, and you stay open-minded and adaptable. You love iterating to find the right solution and pushing yourself into different design mediums. As a storyteller, you'll advocate for design excellence, help elevate our visual identity and contribute to product vision.

This role is in office Monday - Friday in our Seattle, WA office.

What You Will Do:

  • Design user flows, prototypes and high-fidelity UI for features across Stackline's products, and build prototypes to test them or demonstrate functionality while collaborating with other teams.
  • Create social collateral and campaign assets for LinkedIn and other channels
  • Partner with leadership, product, and engineering throughout launches
  • Design digital ad strategy and retail media creative in the sizes and formats each placement needs
  • Keep work consistent with our brand and design system, and help both grow
  • Produce marketing materials such as web graphics, emails, sales decks, case studies and diagrams
  • Use AI tools to speed up your workflow while keeping the craft, quality and originality of your work high
  • Design print pieces such as event signage and trade show materials, and prepare files for production
  • Always look for ways to improve your craft and skills, try new tools (including AI design tools), and share what works with the team

Who We Are Looking For:

Experience and Education

  • 2–3 years of product design experience, in-house or at an agency
  • A bachelor's degree, or equivalent education in reputable bootcamps and continuing education for product design, or visual design
  • A strong online portfolio that shows range across mediums (product UI, marketing materials, ads, social and print) and evidence of working with product teams

Skills and Tools

  • Strong skills in design software such as Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
  • Strong UX and UI instincts, with the ability to turn ideas into clear recommendations and concepts
  • Comfort using AI platforms such as ChatGPT and Claude to support your work and make your workflows more efficient
  • A solid grasp of design principles such as layout, typography, color and visual hierarchy, and of preparing files for both print and digital
  • Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence

How You Work and Collaborate

  • Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal skills, and comfort explaining your design decisions
  • Agile and resourceful, with the ability to work autonomously and adapt to shifting project priorities
  • A self-starter with an optimistic attitude, who pushes work as far as possible independently and knows when to ask for support
  • Openness to feedback and changing direction, turning input into thoughtful creative outputs
  • A team player who values in-person collaboration

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Experience designing data-heavy interfaces, such as dashboards, tables or charts
  • Familiarity with e-commerce, retail or digital advertising
  • Experience with AI design and prototyping tools such as Claude Design, Pen, Stitch, Lovable, Cursor or Pencil
