Events & Marketing Manager

Stambaugh Ness (SN) is a multi-discipline, professional services firm serving clients nationally with a strategic focus on architecture and engineering, professional services, construction and real estate, and manufacturing industries. 

SN is seeking a dynamic and experienced Events & Marketing Manager to advance strategic marketing initiatives, elevate brand visibility, and drive business growth. This role will work closely with the Managing Director of Marketing and is responsible for the planning and execution of high-impact events and sponsorships, fostering key relationships, and managing the firm’s proposal process to align with the firm’s overarching business objectives.  

This is a remote position that can work from anywhere within the United States. 

What you’ll do at SN: 

Event Management

Oversee and execute a portfolio of events including 50+ annual webinars, in-person training, and industry conferences in alignment with business development goals.

  • Serve as primary point of contact for key stakeholders, strategic partners, and vendors, ensuring seamless coordination and execution.
  • Develop and track expense budgets and revenue goals.
  • Establish and measure KPIs, analyze outcomes, and implement recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with presenters, offering comprehensive support before, during, and after event including expectations, timeline, webinar platform training, practice sessions, PowerPoint support, feedback, etc.
  • Lead strategic pre- and post-event meetings to set goals, assess ROI and identify leads.
  • Manage CPE credit requirements and distribution.
  • Collaborate with digital team on event promotion.
  • Manage all event-related communication and collateral including invitations, event confirmations, booth, banners, giveaways, name tags, surveys, attendee follow-ups, etc. 

Proposals/Sales Enablement 

  • Collaborate with Practice Area Leaders to craft compelling and competitive sales presentations and proposals.
  • Maintain, refine, and manage proposal content library and templates to ensure consistency, quality, and timely delivery. 
  • Optimize business development efforts by providing CRM support and market research as assigned. 

Strategic Marketing 

  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the firm’s services and client base.
  • Leverage a deep understanding of the firm’s marketing data and systems to optimize marketing initiatives, improve targeting, and enhance overall campaign effectiveness.
  • Identify, evaluate, and recommend sponsorship and event opportunities to enhance brand visibility and business growth.
  • Ensure all sponsorship benefits are fully leveraged.
  • Engage actively on social media to promote SN and establish industry connections.
  • Manage third-party speaking engagements, coordinating logistics and deliverables to position SN as a thought leader and maximize visibility.
  • Cultivate and strengthen relationships with AEC industry associations, identifying opportunities for collaborative growth.
  • Identify speaking and authorship opportunities with professional and industry associations, publications, podcasts, and other channels. 

 What it takes to be a Events & Marketing Manager: 

  • 5+ years of marketing experience, with a proven track record in strategically executing virtual and in-person events. 
  • Experience in managing/hosting webinars is required. 
  • Experience working in professional services and/or AEC industry a plus.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and results oriented.
  • High attention to detail with experience proofreading marketing collateral.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong strategic thinking, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills; comfortable speaking publicly on webinars.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency with GoToWebinar, Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience working within a CRM system a plus.
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and maintain composure in high-pressure scenarios.

Salary: The salary range for this position is an estimate of $70,000 - $88,000. A final compensation offer within this range will be based on factors including an individual’s skill sets, experience, knowledge, licensure and certifications, and geography.
