Staff Data Scientist

This is a full-time role and can be based remotely anywhere within The United States. Standard AI is a remote-first company, offering the flexibility to create work habits, locations, and schedules that best fit your lifestyle and commitments.

What You'll Do Here:

  • Conduct meaningful analyses to provide actionable insights that support product optimization and strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to integrate analytics solutions focused on key retail metrics such as traffic, availability, and conversion rates.
  • Design and implement data-driven methodologies for A/B testing and merchandising strategies, ensuring positive impacts on customer experiences.
  • Develop AI models that leverage machine learning to improve consumer behavior analysis, enhancing retail strategies.
  • Lead innovative research projects and publish findings to advance our Vision Analytics platform.

What You've Done Before:

  • Advanced degree in Statistics, Economics, Machine Learning, or Operations Research.
  • 5+ years of experience in data science, with a focus on retail or e-commerce analytics.
  • Expertise in developing and applying AI and computer vision techniques.
  • Strong programming skills in Python or R and experience with cloud-based data platforms.
  • Proven a track record of publishing research and driving innovation in data science.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven insights.

We offer very competitive compensation. In addition to the Base Salary, we also offer Stock Options and Best-in-Class Benefits. The total compensation package will depend on multiple factors such as location, level, related experience and interview performance.

Target Starting Salary - Remote, USA

$200,000 - $235,000 USD
