Standard Metrics is seeking an experienced Data Solutions Manager to join our growing data team. In this role, you will oversee projects that drive data accuracy and continuity for our customers, involving strategy and planning, data management, reporting, and data parsing. We are looking for a hands-on technical data lead who can successfully manage projects, teams, and customers, and has an eye for process and a proclivity to automate.

What You'll Do

  • Lead a team of data solutions reps to ensure our customers get their data quickly and accurately
  • Define, track, and optimize key performance metrics to ensure data accuracy, service levels, and operational efficiency
  • Partner closely with Product and Engineering to enhance internal tools and automation for data processing
  • Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success to drive adoption
  • Oversee data ingestion, validation, and parsing workflows to guarantee timely and accurate delivery of customer data
  • Create a robust documentation suite to clearly articulate data definitions while highlighting data quality gaps
  • Continuously assess and improve processes, leveraging automation where possible

What You'll Bring

  • 7-10+ years working in consulting or in a finance data-focused role
  • Experience managing and mentoring junior team members
  • Deep knowledge of accounting and VC finance
  • Experience with Artificial Intelligence SaaS platform offerings
  • Eagerness to help build and lead a best-in-class data practice
  • Ability to work with high volumes of data and transactions, while holding a team accountable to high levels of precision (99.999%) and service levels
  • Extensive experience presenting and interacting with clients

For our employees located in the USA, we aim to pay at or above the market rate of US-based tech hubs like San Francisco or NYC. For international roles, we aim to pay top of market for your country. The estimated annual salary for this role is between $140,000-$185,000, plus a competitive equity package. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
