Position Overview
The Stanley 1913 team is growing, and we are seeking an eCommerce Manager in Japan who will be responsible for planning and executing eComm channel programs, driving sustainable and profitable sales growth across platforms such as Amazon and DTC. This person will lead partners from distributors, agencies, and eComm platforms to ensure strong distribution and premium consumer experience. Reporting to Sales Director, Japan, this role will also partner closely with other cross functional teams such as Global eComm, APAC Commercial/ Ops/ Marketing and Supply Chain. What You'll Do

Design and implement key EC channel plan (Amazon + DTC to start with) in accordance with global strategy, determine/measure the sales metrics, and the main means to achieve to sales goal

Build direct relationships and collaborate with key Amazon Japan decision makers across multiple levels and functions to ensure ongoing support for the brand and ultimately deliver growth. Oversee and manage all aspects of 1P Amazon Japan vendor account.

Develop, manage, and execute Joint Business Plan (JBP), regularly interacting with customer to drive the execution throughout the year.

Gain internal alignment from cross functional partners in areas including Global Ecomm, Regional Commercial, Regional Marketing, and Supply Chain by building relationships to achieve business goals.

Forecast, analyze, and report financials to include accurate SKU forecasts, monthly, quarterly and yearly sales growth projections.

Execute both external and internal daily management tasks including, but not isolated to, sales reporting, promotional programs, supply chain initiatives, advertising strategy, demand planning, marketing content optimization and localization.

Present plans, recommendations, initiatives to customer to gain buy in support of the channel strategy and annual sales goals.

Manage performance media budget to drive traffic and conversion while achieving the aligned ROAS

Perform keyword analysis and drive research to optimize brand, product and category presence across the channel landscape using all available levers: digital marketing, data optimization, merchandising recommendations, promotions, etc.

Analyze data and glean insights from available resources to drive business opportunities and develop strategic activities to realize growth opportunities.
Who You Are
-
University or four-year college Degree
-
8+ years of experience in eCommerce, sales, and/or channel management in Japan; experience with managing Amazon 1P is a requirement

Proven track record to deliver results and take ownership by leading multiple priorities while maintaining the highest level of integrity

High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and operationally focused with a passion for speed and simplicity

Takes initiative & identifies white space and marketing opportunities to generate consumption

Well versed in strategy development and financial management including developing and managing budgets

Strong eye for business with the ability to learn and understand key business issues

Ability to operate independently and remotely given direction, and bring ideas and solutions to issues raised

Aptitude to analyze and assess organizational needs and provide solutions accordingly

Proficient across all areas of digital marketing and eCommerce in Japan

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Japanese and English; must be able to develop cohesive PowerPoint presentations and be comfortable presenting both in front of senior leaders as well as customer accounts

Interpersonal savvy to effectively work with and connect with all levels of employees across multiple functions and geographies

Exceptional time management skills showcasing the ability to organize, prioritize, and lead multiple projects with overlapping goals and objectives

Be adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced environment
