Position Overview

Our Commercial team is growing, and we are looking for someone with entrepreneurial spirit and passion to help us tell and grow our legendary story.
The Commercial Associate Manager will work under the direction of the Commercial Senior Manager across a variety of projects to drive sales growth and effective marketplace management at Stanley – specifically on the Mobility & Storage, Bar, Café, and Originals categories. Your ultimate goal is to drive success with our consumers and retail partners while working collaboratively across the internal organization. You will need a strong process orientation to ensure that commercial plans are fully communicated and flawlessly executed, including channel strategy, segmentation, assortment, pricing and merchandising. This is both a learning and development role to gain familiarity with our product line and business processes, and to work as part of a cross functional team. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to gain exposure to all facets of the Stanley business and will support multiple stakeholders including sales, product, marketing, finance, and operations.

What You'll Do
- Understand and prioritize different drivers of success by strategic customer. Collaborate with Product and Sales to identify and execute the strategy and tactics to succeed by channel.
- Support the Commercial team with overall sales and marketplace/competitive analyses, developing a consistent drumbeat to report sales, forecast and competitive data across channels to inform strategic decisions and new business opportunities.
- Support and manage relationships with Sales by providing analysis and insights for product launches and assortment planning, aligned with category targets and business development plans.
- Support the product roadmap, portfolio strategy and innovation plan; assist with go-to-market planning for new item launches.
- Partner to develop strategic sales and promotional opportunities based on market share data, trends, and the market’s competitive landscape.
- Assist in the flow of goods management, working directly with Demand Planning and Supply Chain partners.
- Support content development for internal and external communications, including support for customer meetings, sales meetings, internal meetings and other ad hoc events.
- Ensure flawless execution across of Commercial communications and deliverables.
- Build and maintain great working relationships with all cross-functional teams within Stanley.
Who You Are:
- Analytical. Previous experience with research/analysis, buying/replenishment, or customer service within a consumer products organization.
- Problem Solver. Ability to process and reconcile large amounts of data and recognize challenges/opportunities based on that data, offering actionable solutions.

- Communicator. Communicate efficiently and effectively both verbally and in writing. Will participate in monthly presentations, sharing with large cross functional teams.
- Organized. Take initiative and prioritize tasks; demonstrate excellent time management, organization, problem-prevention and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business or related field
- Strong analytical skills and demonstrated expertise building dashboards, reports, and analyses by synthesizing data from multiple sources.
- Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel and proficiency in report building from raw data.
- 3+ years of experience in sales, merchandising, marketing or business development environment required
- Retail, CPG, Food & Beverage, Fashion, Lifestyle and/or Sportswear industry knowledge preferred.
The base pay range for this position is for a successful candidate within the state listed. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on multiple factors such as work location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, and experience.
Salary Range
$90,000 - $105,000 USD
