- Monitor advertising regulations and evolving industry standards.

- Lead all aspects of copyright strategy and protection for internal and third-party content.
- Support IP clearance for product names, taglines, logos, and campaigns.
- Contribute to other legal and compliance projects as needed.
Who You Are
- 5+ years of legal experience, with at least 3 years supporting marketing, advertising, promotions or trademarks matters, ideally in-house at a consumer-facing company or at a law firm.
- J.D. from an accredited law school; licensed in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- Deep knowledge of U.S. advertising law (FTC Act, Lanham Act, state unfair competition laws).
- Extensive experience managing a trademark portfolio and managing outside counsel and foreign associates. Some experience managing patent portfolio is preferred.
- Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Exercises sound judgment, initiative, and problem-solving abilities, especially in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
- Skilled at building scalable, practical processes and simplifying complex legal concepts.
- Experience with IP clearance, branded content, social media compliance, and running global trademark portfolios; patent experience a plus.
- Proven contract drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Able to run multiple projects and collaborate cross-functionally with diverse teams.
