About the Position
We’re seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Virtual Construction (VC) Project Engineer to join our growing team at Stansell Electric. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate looking to launch their career in a tech-forward construction environment.
In this role, you will support project teams by leveraging digital tools such as BIM (Building Information Modeling), VDC (Virtual Design & Construction), and 3D modeling software to coordinate, plan, and help execute complex building projects. You’ll work primarily out of our Nashville office, providing detailed installation and coordination information to our field crews to ensure accurate, efficient, and high-quality execution on-site.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
- Possession of good hearing and vision, normal or corrected.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Strong math and computer skills
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to work within a team to solve problems and accurately communicate the solution
- Ability to communicate effectively with both field teams and Project Managers
- Experience with AutoCAD, REVIT, Bluebeam or similar computer aided design software
- Ability to read and review construction documents
- Basic understanding of electrical construction
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Must be very detailed oriented
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
