SUMMARY:
We are looking for a Recruiter that excels at sourcing, screening, evaluating and selling the value of an organization to candidates! In this role, you will partner with all hiring leaders, talent team and others to understand the need and then go find the ideal person to fill it. Construction is cyclical, so when we are not out finding the best and brightest - engaging on training, process improvement, etc are all viable options!
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Design and implement proactive recruiting techniques, develop valuable industry contacts and select qualified applicants who will contribute to the company success.
2. Coordinate the development of Job Descriptions and Interview Guidelines.
3. Partner with leaders to fully vet position requirements and staffing needs in order to focus recruitment efforts appropriately.
4. Conduct and compile data analysis from multiple sources to evaluate strategic sourcing and best recruiting practices and procedures.
5. Identify company talent gaps and make recommendations for alternative methods to source and deliver and maintain a high caliber applicant pipeline including third party testing and assessments.
6. Conduct interviews as needed (phone, Skype, in-person).
7. Conduct pre-screening interviews as appropriate, scheduling and participating in on-site interviews as required or requested.
8. Develop sourcing plans specific to job opportunities. Identify diverse talent resources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, social media, and internet sites.
9.Evaluate applicant's job experience, education, skills, training, organizational fit, as well as future potential.
10. Manage open and filled positions in applicant tracking systems ensuring all applicants progress forward in a timely manner.
11. Mentor department managers on compliance with company recruitment processes, Applicant Tracking System, behavioral interviewing techniques, job descriptions, and assessing the candidate.
12. Assisting the Talent team as needed. Additional duties as required.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Five years of experience in Human Resources, with 3+ years in recruitment (we will consider less experienced candidates provided they can demonstrate their willingness to learn, flexibility, pleasant demeanor, and superior intelligence and have relevant experience in other jobs)
- Construction experience is highly preferred
- High School/GED required
- College degree preferred
- Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Good with paperwork
- Attention to details
- Current driver’s license
- Strong code of ethics
- Leadership skills
- Service oriented, good “people skills”
