Description
We're looking for a driven and detail-oriented Intern Project Manager to become part of our team. This internship provides an invaluable chance to gain hands-on experience in project management within a vibrant and cooperative setting. As an Intern Project Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in coordinating and overseeing diverse projects, collaborating closely with team members to ensure they're completed promptly and meet our high-quality standards. This role presents an outstanding opportunity to cultivate fundamental project management skills and deepen your understanding of project lifecycles.
How You’ll Make a Difference
Assist in Project Planning: Collaborate with project stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Assist in creating project plans, timelines, and schedules.
Support Project Execution: Work closely with project team members to execute project tasks according to the established plan. Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or issues. Assist in implementing strategies to mitigate risks and keep projects on track.
Communication and Collaboration: Facilitate communication among project team members, stakeholders, and other relevant parties. Coordinate meetings, document discussions, and distribute relevant information to ensure alignment and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including meeting minutes, action items, and project status reports. Assist in preparing presentations or reports for project updates, milestones, and outcomes.
Quality Assurance: Assist in ensuring that project deliverables meet quality standards and requirements. Conduct periodic reviews and quality checks to identify and address any deviations or deficiencies.
Continuous Improvement: Actively contribute ideas and suggestions for process improvements and best practices in project management. Participate in post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for enhancement.
Smarts, Skills. And Physical Requirements
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Eagerness to learn and develop new skills in project management.
Education
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Construction Management
