About the job:

The nature of growth marketing in the world of agentic AI is changing. Walls between product expertise, market understanding, sales, and traditional marketing tactics are breaking down. Success now depends on using the latest AI tools to automate manual work and deliver results with greater speed and precision. This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career, high-velocity growth marketer to make a measurable impact at a “Series B” product inside a growth-stage, $3B+ AI infrastructure company. Together, we will design and scale a cutting-edge, agentic go-to-market engine for Starburst Galaxy.

As a Senior Growth Hacker, AI & Automation at Starburst, you will:

  • Pipeline Growth Strategy & Execution: Be the growth marketing lead’s copilot in architecting, automating, and scaling Galaxy’s mid-market pipeline generation strategy: combining AI-powered workflows, data-driven targeting, and smart offer orchestration to drive pipeline efficiency and velocity.

    • Translate ICP insights into actionable targeting and offers supporting a product-assisted sales motion for a high-growth SaaS data infrastructure product.
    • Build and manage a cross-channel testing roadmap (email, paid, trials, webinars, tutorials) with rapid experimentation cycles.

  • Automation & Workflow Design: Design and maintain growth automation systems for enrichment, lead scoring, and campaign orchestration in partnership with Marketing Ops.

    • Implement closed-loop systems connecting data sources to activation channels, continuously improving segmentation, accuracy, and speed.
    • Continuously refine workflows to improve signal accuracy, segmentation, and speed to outreach.

  • Paid Media & Offer Optimization: Manage paid media performance across LinkedIn and Google Ads, collaborating with agencies and creative partners to optimize offers and targeting.

    • Partner with the content writer and developer to deploy gated offers such as eBooks, webinars, tutorials, trials, and optimize conversion paths.
    • Collaborate with the web CRO lead to align inbound and outbound motion around shared KPIs and test insights.
    • Collaborate with content, design, and agency partners to brief, test, and iterate creative concepts and offers based on performance insights.
  • Measurement & Reporting: Report on insights across channels and deliver them back to cross-functional partners.

    • Paid and outbound efficiency metrics
    • Offer-level conversion performance
    • Pipeline coverage and velocity
    • Working with RevOps stakeholders, build dashboards and sprint reports covering:
    • Collaborate closely with Product Marketing, SDRs, and AEs to ensure learnings from campaigns inform messaging, assets, and product positioning.
    • Contribute insights from growth experimentation to broader marketing programs and community initiatives.

Some of the things we look for:

  • Proven experience in growth or demand generation (B2B SaaS preferred), ideally with exposure to AI/data infrastructure markets.
  • Deep comfort with LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, and data-driven experimentation.
  • Analytical mindset with comfort in spreadsheets, BI tools, and basic SQL.
  • A mix of creative and quantitative skillsets: both storyteller and experimenter.
  • Ability to think like a product marketer, synthesizing technical product value into testable messaging.
  • Strong cross-functional communicator fluent in both sales and product languages.
  • Nice to have:

    • Hands-on with automation tools (Clay, n8n, Zapier, HubSpot, Apollo).

    • Experience as an SDR/BDR or managing outbound sequences.

    • Early-stage B2B startup experience (Seed–Series B).

    • Familiarity with media planning, ad operations, and programmatic tools.

    • Entrepreneurial or founder mindset.

    • An MBA.

Tooling
Our current and potential tool stack includes: HubSpot, Salesforce, VWO, Google Analytics, ZoomInfo, 6sense, Qualified, Outreach, n8n, Clay, Instantly, Apollo, Pocus, Smartlead, Chorus, Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT, and Starburst Galaxy. We’re also innovating on new systems together including a Knowledge Graph for GTM, Systematic Context Engineering, AI-native B2B Growth Stack, End-to-End Research Workflow for GTM Email Campaigns, Human-in-the-Loop Prompt Chaining.

Ability to Travel: This role will require occasional in-person travel for purposes including but not limited to new hire onboarding, team and department offsites, customer engagements, and other company events. Actual travel expectations may vary by role and business needs.

Where could this role be based?

  • This role could be based in Boston or San Francisco and follows a hybrid model, with an expectation of being onsite 1-2 days per week.

Starburst is dedicated to maintaining fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range provided for this role reflects the minimum and maximum targets for candidates across all U.S. locations and could be inclusive of variable compensation, such as commission or bonus. All employees receive equity packages (ISOs) and have access to a comprehensive benefits offering. Actual compensation packages are determined based on relevant skills, experience, education and training, and specific work location. $138,600 - $170,100 USD
