IT Coordinator
Tampa, FL
Star Mountain Capital is seeking a proactive and service-oriented IT Coordinator to oversee day-to-day IT operations within the firm’s Tampa office. This individual will serve as the primary on-site technology resource for Tampa employees, ensuring reliable access to systems, equipment, and technology while coordinating closely with the firm’s broader IT team and external technology providers.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, service-oriented, and comfortable managing technology priorities in a fast-paced, growing organization.
Position Description:

Oversee day-to-day IT operations and employee technology support for the Tampa office.

Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for Tampa employees’ technology needs and troubleshooting.
- Coordinate technology onboarding and offboarding for Tampa employees, including laptops, equipment, software, accounts, and system access.
- Manage Tampa office technology, including networks, printers, conference room systems, workstations, and other hardware.
- Maintain accurate inventories of Tampa hardware, software, licenses, and other IT assets.
- Coordinate with the firm’s broader IT resources and external IT and cybersecurity providers to troubleshoot issues and support technology initiatives.
- Assist with technology vendors, software licensing, equipment orders, renewals, and service relationships.
- Maintain IT documentation, procedures, system information, and employee training materials.
- Support cybersecurity, access controls, data protection, and technology-related compliance initiatives.
- Proactively identify technology issues and recommend improvements to enhance reliability, efficiency, and the Tampa employee experience.
- Support technology projects and system implementations as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.

3+ years of experience in IT support, IT operations, systems administration, or a related technology role.
- Experience supporting Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Working knowledge of hardware, software, networking, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Strong troubleshooting, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate effectively with employees, vendors, and external IT providers.
- Highly proactive, responsive, and service-oriented.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, accountability, and discretion.
- Financial services or asset management experience is a plus.
