The Role  

We are seeking a results-driven Regional Account Executive to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you’ll build strong relationships with landlords, property managers, and real estate professionals. You will be responsible for expanding our regional presence, prospecting new clients, closing deals, and managing ongoing client relationships. As a Regional Account Executive, you will collaborate closely with marketing, client success, and customer service teams to drive strategic growth and long-term client retention. 

 

Role Specifics  

  • Work Location: Remote, US (Texas strongly preferred)
  • Travel: 25% (The percentage of travel is an estimation, and it could vary up or down based on business needs throughout the year.)
  • Compensation Structure: In addition to the base salary listed below, this role is eligible for a commission plan.
  • Reporting Structure: This role reports to the VP Sales, College Pads.

What You Will Own  

  • Identifying, prospecting, and securing new partnerships with landlords and property managers within your assigned region 
  • Delivering tailored sales presentations, effectively communicating the benefits of our platform, and negotiating contracts to close new business 
  • Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships with existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction and maximizing opportunities for upsell and retention 
  • Working closely with Marketing, Client Success, and Customer Service to develop strategies that attract new clients and retain existing ones 
  • Sharing feedback on regional trends to enhance product offerings and client engagement 
  • Meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets by consistently pursuing and closing high-quality deals 
  • Staying informed about industry trends, competitor activity, and local housing markets to position College Pads in your markets effectively 

 

Required Qualifications  

  • 2+ years of experience in sales, account management, or business development,  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers 
  • Solid negotiation skills and the ability to navigate complex contracts and deal structures 
  • Comfortable working remotely and independently, with strong time management and organizational skills 
  • A demonstrated track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets 
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and MS Office or Google Workspace tools 
  • Familiarity with the needs and challenges of college housing is a significant advantage 

 

Preferred Qualifications  

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, or a related field   
  • Previous experience in real estate, property management, or a related field 
  • Experience in a fast-paced, growing company
