The Role 

We are looking for a talented Corporate Accountant to join our Finance team. In this role, you will play a critical part in the day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring compliance with GAAP, corporate policies, and external audits. You’ll take charge of the month-end close process and be instrumental in preparing comprehensive financial reporting packages.

Role Specifics 

  • Work Location: Denver, CO (Hybrid 3 days per week) 
  • Travel: 10% (The percent of travel is an estimation, and it could vary up or down based on business needs throughout the year.) 
  • Reporting Structure: This role reports to the Corporate Accounting Senior Manager

What You Will Own 

  • Responsible for the month-end closing process, including preparing journal entries and account reconciliations 
  • Perform consolidation activities for the international subsidiaries, including elimination and FX revaluations journal entries 
  • Prepare the monthly financial reporting package and debt compliance reporting in accordance with GAAP and IFRS 
  • Assist with drafting and researching technical accounting memos 
  • Review AP bills and expense reports for proper general ledger coding 
  • Assist with VAT and Sales tax filings 
  • Work on the company’s annual consolidated and statutory audits 
  • Draft and maintain SOPs and accounting policies 
  • Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and systems, implement best practices, and improve the efficiency and accuracy of month end close 

Required Qualifications 

  • BA/BS degree in Accounting 
  • 3+ years of accounting experience, with 1+ year in a growing SaaS environment 
  • Solid understanding of US GAAP and IFRS 
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams 
  • Proficient with MS Excel and working ability in Word and PowerPoint 
  • Resourceful, innovative, with a can-do attitude 

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience with NetSuite accounting system 
  • Prior audit experience in Public Accounting
