 The Role 

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our global team. You have an uncanny knack for problem solving and you have a sharp product mindset. Our engineers are involved in all aspects of the software design process and create high-performing, scalable, and secure products. Working alongside Product, Design, Quality, Platform, Security and your team to design right-size solutions to build our Products. 

 

With deep knowledge of your domain and programming language, you not only understand how choices made in software design and its architecture affect areas like performance, memory management, maintainability and testability - you promote this knowledge to others within your team. You are hands-on and keep up to date with the latest technologies. 

 

 

Role Specifics 

• Work Location: Hyderabad, Telengana, IN 

• Travel: <5% [The percent of travel is an estimation, and it could vary up or down based on business needs throughout the year.] 

• Reporting Structure: Reports to Director, Engineering

What You Will Own 

• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers and other stakeholders to meet customers’ needs 

• Contribute to code reviews and automated testing 

• Participate in daily stand-up and regular refinement and planning meetings as part of a team-based, agile/scrum environment 

• Work autonomously and pair up with team members when appropriate 

 

Required Qualifications 

• 2+ years of commercial experience as an engineer in a cross-functional software team 

• You are passionate about product and shipping value to customers 

• Strong systems thinking 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills  

• Ability to think logically and analytically in a problem-solving environment 

• Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related technologies; 

• Experience with PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, etc.); 

• Strong experience working on Node, Vue.js, Next.js, Typescript; 

• Good knowledge of testing frameworks; 

• SOLID Principals & Design Patterns; 

• Working knowledge of web services and web technologies 

• You are passionate about continuously improving 

 

Preferred Qualifications 

• 2+ years of commercial experience as an engineer in a cross-functional software team
