The Role
We’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our Sales team supporting College Pads by StarRez. In this high-velocity role, you’ll help drive revenue growth by creating new business opportunities through outbound prospecting and lead qualification.
As part of the Sales team, you’ll work closely with Account Executives to build pipeline, engage prospective customers, and support our go-to-market efforts.

Role Specifics
- Work Location: Remote, US
- Compensation Structure: In addition to the base salary listed below, this role is eligible for a bonus/commission plan.
- Travel: 5% (The percentage of travel is an estimation, and it could vary up or down based on business needs throughout the year.)
- Reporting Structure: This role reports to the Director, Sales Development.

What You Will Own
- Research property management companies, owners, and key contacts (primarily in the student housing market) to understand roles, challenges, and goals
- Craft and send targeted prospecting emails to engage ideal customers
- Make outbound phone calls and build rapport with prospective customers
- Utilize Salesforce, HubSpot, Gong Engage, cold calling, social media, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, email, and referrals to connect with potential leads
- Set up meetings or calls between qualified prospects and Account Executives
- Understand College Pads’ solutions, value propositions, and customer pain points
- Overcome objections and stay informed on competitive offerings and market trends
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Enablement teams to align outreach strategies and messaging
- Meet or exceed monthly goals for pipeline generation, bookings sourced, and outreach activity
- Report regularly to Sales leadership on progress through weekly and monthly updates, team meetings, and huddles
- Suggest improvements to tools, processes, and workflows to increase effectiveness
- Continuously refine your outreach approach through testing and iteration
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Interest in sales, customer-facing roles, or real estate/property solutions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable making outbound calls and engaging via email and social channels
- Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work independently in a remote setting
- Strong organizational skills; able to manage priorities and meet deadlines
- Coachable, eager to learn, and open to feedback
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ year in B2B sales, cold calling, or lead generation
- Background in student housing, real estate, or working with property managers
- Familiarity with Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar CRMs
- Understanding of the student lifecycle or PropTech industry
- Process-driven and structured in your work
- Experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator or sales engagement tools
- Desire to grow a career in SaaS sales
