Senior Strategic Partnership Manager
Read this first: This role is a strong fit for someone who has worked extensively with or at a major online travel agency, Booking.com, Expedia, Airbnb, or a comparable player, and has built trusted relationships across the industry. You’ll bring a real network of senior people you can reach out to and meet with quickly. We’re hiring someone who can open doors and create momentum, so meaningful OTA experience and relationships are an important part of the profile.
About Stay22
Based in Montreal, Stay22 helps ambitious creators and intent-rich digital platforms turn their existing traffic into incremental revenue, with technology that works quietly in the background.
Today, more than 6,500 creators and platforms rely on Stay22, with over $1 billion in annual transactions flowing through the platform. Originally built for travel, the company now supports partners across retail, lifestyle, publishing, events, and transport as it expands its monetization infrastructure for the modern creator economy.
Position Overview
Our Supply team works with the biggest brands in travel — OTAs, activities, and accommodations — turning those relationships into real results for our distribution network. We're growing fast, and this is the kind of role where you can genuinely say "I drove $100M in outcomes."
This isn't a broad portfolio role. You'll own one of our biggest, most strategic accounts — with the focus, access, and autonomy to drive real outcomes. You'll build the account playbook from scratch: mapping the organization, understanding what drives decisions, and building multi-threaded relationships so progress never hinges on one contact.
You'll partner closely with our product and leadership teams — and the partner's — to align strategies, uncover new value, and turn account intelligence into clear, actionable insight. You'll lead QBRs, own the wins, and navigate challenges with confidence.
You'll report to the Head of Supply and work closely with senior leadership. A senior IC role with real ownership, visibility, and influence.
Key Responsibilities
Own one major account: retain it, grow it, and protect it.
Build a deep understanding of the account and the market around it: how it moves, who matters, and what they're trying to do.
Build and keep current a full account map and black book: stakeholders, profiles, engagement plans, contract timing.
Get firm, shared targets in place, and hold both sides accountable to them.
Set a regular cadence between our senior leaders and theirs, and between our product teams.
Guide major projects end-to-end with measurable outcomes alongside our product & go-to-market teams.
Run QBRs and weekly calls, followed by concise, executive-level reports on what you're seeing and what to do about it.
Travel roughly 30 to 40% of the time to be in the room with your account.
Requirements
8+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, key account management, or business development, including direct ownership of multi-million-dollar accounts or projects
Demonstrated experience at a major online travel agency (OTA) — such as Booking.com, Expedia, Airbnb, or a comparable platform (subsidiaries and metasearch platforms, e.g. Hotels.com, Vrbo, Priceline, Agoda, Kayak, Trivago, also qualify) — with an established network of senior industry relationships
Proven experience running account-based marketing (ABM) programs against named accounts, including customer profiling and engagement planning
Strong executive presence, with sound judgment in high-stakes conversations and the ability to build trust across all levels of an organization
Experience managing cross-functional relationships spanning product, leadership, and external partner teams
Comparable senior individual contributor experience — e.g., Senior Account Manager, Executive Account Manager, Strategic Partnerships Manager, or equivalent

Originally built for travel, the company now supports partners across retail, lifestyle, publishing, events, and transport as it expands its monetization infrastructure for the modern creator economy.
Position Overview
At Stay22, we're scaling fast, and we're looking for someone who wants to grow revenue, not just protect it. As a Partner Success Associate, you'll own a portfolio of partners and be their go-to advisor, but this is a quota-carrying seat, not a support role. This is a high-activity seat: roughly two-thirds of your time is spent hunting and closing upsell opportunities, with the remainder split between running QBRs and managing churn/retention for your book. Reporting to the Digital Success Manager and joining a Partner Success team of 8, you'll be measured on upsell and expansion: spotting whitespace, pitching new features and configurations, and turning satisfied partners into bigger accounts by digging into the CRM to find unexplored opportunities. We're looking for someone competitive, data-driven, and comfortable owning a number, someone who can dig into the numbers to find the next opportunity, make the pitch, and close it, while building the kind of trust that keeps partners active, growing, and referring. Day to day, you'll work closely with Sales, Product, RevOps, Support, and Marketing, and you'll have direct input into how the Partner Success function scales as the company grows. If you like the relationship side of sales but want ownership over an existing book of business rather than pure hunting, this is that seat.
Key Requirements
Carry a quota and drive revenue growth through strategic upsells and partner expansion.
Own and grow a portfolio of ~15 SMB partners, building the trust that turns satisfied partners into upsell pipeline.
Expect a high-volume, email-driven cadence, you'll be running outreach and pipeline management primarily over email, with calls reserved for your bigger, higher-value opportunities.
Monitor portfolio performance to spot trends, forecast risk, and surface whitespace and high-impact optimization opportunities.
Run regular business reviews (QBRs) with key partners, using performance data to demonstrate value, align on goals, and pitch the next opportunity.
Lead onboarding and activation, setting partners up to succeed and grow from day one.
Support partners in optimizing their websites and content for monetization performance, SEO, and engagement.
Guide partners in technical configurations, including script setup, WordPress implementation, etc.
Champion the partner voice, collaborating with Marketing on advocacy stories and with Product on roadmap input.
Qualifications
3-4 years of experience in customer or partner success, account management, sales, business development, or a related client-facing role in a SaaS or technology environment.
Prior experience carrying a quota or revenue target (even informally).
Comfortable building and managing outbound sequences and owning a pipeline end-to-end — from prospecting whitespace within existing accounts through to close.
Familiarity with HubSpot or a similar CRM platform (Salesforce, Gainsight, ChurnZero)
Comfortable working with data to spot trends and inform recommendations; experience with a BI tool (Looker, Tableau, Power BI) or product analytics tool (Pendo, Mixpanel, WalkMe) is a plus.
Must be fluent in English, with additional proficiency in French, Portuguese, Spanish, or Italian considered a strong advantage.
Some travel may be required.
Nice to Have
Familiarity with digital marketing fundamentals, including SEO and emerging strategies like GEO (Generative Engine Optimization).
Comfortable installing scripts (e.g., Stay22 tools) and working with website CMS platforms like WordPress.
Ability to optimize for site performance and monetization.
