Stealth Pharma Data Analytics Platform (codenamed: “Starfire”) is a purpose-built analytics and reporting platform for pharma commercial teams to understand the performance of their drugs. It combines in-market RWD with internal data to show budget variance, identify risks and assess strategic pivots – equipping commercial team leaders with the information they need to execute more efficiently, effectively, and with greater confidence. Our mission is to demystify drug performance and barriers to patient adoption, in order to bring clarity to strategic decision-making.

 

About The Job: 

As CEO of Stealth Pharma Data Analytics Platform, you will build and launch an innovative data analytics platform that through its comprehensive analytics and intelligence capabilities, predictive modeling and analytics dashboard, will enable pharma commercial leaders to meet forecasting targets, avoid missed revenue opportunities, and reduce administrative burden / complexity related to current analytics workflows. You will create the vision and product strategy, and engage early customers, as you drive expansion of the product, vision and team.

What you’ll do:

  • Set the vision for the company, defining the approach from launch to scale.
  • Drive strategy and decision-making across all functional areas, including product, technology, operations, partnerships, finance, and marketing.
  • Hire a technical co-founder, and design a nimble product development strategy.
  • Define a vision to build and scale the MVP. 
  • Execute on a customer pilot as you engage early customers.
  • Determine the primary KPIs, building the plan and team to execute / achieve them.
  • Lead P&L and cash flow management, including financial modeling and analysis.
  • Build a data science platform MVP for pre-Series A customers
  • Structure a thoughtful organizational hiring roadmap, recruiting, retaining, and developing world-class talent.
  • Oversee all fundraising activities, supporting the company’s growth objectives in partnership with Redesign.
  • Regularly communicate with the Board of Directors, Redesign, and relevant investors.
  • Create and sustain a great company culture with articulated values, providing inspired leadership that enables a great working relationship across all levels.

What you’ll need:

  • Required Background
    • 10+ years of experience with progressively more senior roles and in organizations with successful track records and bars for talent.
    • 2+ years in a fast growing environment and an understanding of the existential threats of situations with limited resources.
    • Experience selling, building, or scaling SaaS platforms and / or data analytics products..
    • Significant domain expertise: An understanding of the drivers, pain points, and opportunities within commercial pharma teams data science and analytics needs (i.e. workflows, technologies, etc.).
    • 0-1 or Rapid Growth Leadership: Leadership role driving business results in a 0-1 or rapid growth context. 
    • Scaled value with finite resources: Successfully scaled a product or service in a resource-constrained context. 
    • Build & Scale: Developed a product or service to meet market needs and then adapted it to grow the customer base and revenue.
    • Go-to-Market: Contributed to the strategy and execution of bringing a product or service to market through segmenting customers, testing distribution channels, and applying different marketing tactics.
  • Preferred Background
    • Fundraising experience: Achieved fundraising goals with favorable terms or garnered significant internal institutional investment after a proof of concept. 
    • P&L responsibility: Accountability for managing the profit and loss statement of a business unit.
