About the Role:
As a Business Development Representative at Stellic, you'll have a crucial role in powering our growth and impact in higher education. This role is about being the bridge between institution decision makers and the value Stellic can bring. To do this, you’ll initiate and nurture meaningful relationships through timely, relevant, and personalized outreach, as well as in-person conferences. You'll create and own the new pipeline that enables us to transform more students' academic journeys while developing your own career in a fast-growing, mission-driven organization. It’s a role that’s both challenging and deeply rewarding.
Some of the things you’ll do:
- Generate monthly pipeline through strategic, personalized outreach to higher education institutions
- Deeply research institutions and craft messages to key decision makers that demonstrate a deep understanding of their challenges and priorities, and how Stellic can support them
- Attend regional/national conferences annually to build relationships with prospective buyers and champions, face-to-face
- Develop a strong understanding of our ICP personas and their responsibilities, and how they connect to Stellic's value. Establish meaningful connections with decision-makers

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with Google Suite and CRM platforms
- Preferred 1-2 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field

Compensation: $80,000-$90,000; plus equity
Work location: Candidates must be willing to work in-office in the Bay Area 3 days per week as part of our hybrid work culture.
