The Opportunity
Sterlington is seeking two highly skilled Outsourcing Associates (5–7 years) to join its growing, technology-forward platform. This is a high-priority hire supporting sophisticated, cross-border outsourcing and commercial transactions for a global client base that includes founders, high-growth companies, and institutional platforms.
This role offers direct access to senior partners, lean deal teams, and meaningful ownership in complex, high-value matters within a fully remote, modern law firm structure.
What You'll Do:
- Advise clients on a wide range of outsourcing, technology, and commercial transactions, including IT outsourcing, business process outsourcing (BPO), SaaS, cloud, and digital infrastructure agreements
- Lead drafting and negotiation of complex commercial agreements, including master services agreements, statements of work, and vendor arrangements
- Partner directly with senior stakeholders on strategic structuring of outsourcing relationships, including cross-border considerations
- Navigate regulatory, data privacy, and operational risk issues in technology-driven transactions
- Collaborate across practice areas (Corporate, Privacy, Executive Compensation, etc.) on integrated matters
- Manage multiple high-stakes matters in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
- Drive AI-powered process automation across legal and operational functions. Identifying inefficiencies, deploying scalable solutions, and raising the AI fluency bar firm-wide
What We're Looking For:
- 5–7 years of experience at a top-tier law firm (AmLaw or leading international equivalent)
- Strong background in outsourcing, technology transactions, and commercial contracting
- Demonstrated experience with complex, high-value agreements and direct client interaction
- LL.M. from a U.S. institution strongly preferred
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Ability to operate independently in a lean, remote-first environment
- Deep interest in AI, innovation, and the future of legal services
- Experience advising on digital transformation, cloud infrastructure, or tech-enabled business models
- Strong commercial mindset and ability to provide practical, business-oriented advice
Why Sterlington
- Work directly with senior partners from top-tier firms on high-impact, sophisticated matters
- Lean teams with real ownership and client exposure from day one
- Fully remote, flexible structure with a focus on quality of work over face time
- Competitive compensation aligned with top-of-market expectations
- Platform built for modern legal practice, with emphasis on efficiency, technology, and collaboration
