The Team Captain, Operations and Supply Chain will supervise, and support the activities of the Operations team and the Supply Chain team, including the unboxing/boxing, processing, and dock areas as well as the picking, put away, optimizing and organizing product inventory, keeping accurate real-time records of inventory-product movement, and providing supply chain operations support for customers, brands and power sellers.This role will also assist in assembling data, assist in analyzing performance, identify problems, provide input, and assist in developing processes and solutions that support operations.

What you will do
  • Create, support, and foster a safe and team-based work environment
  • Be aware of and follow all performance expectations and ensure Team Members (TMs) are adhering to their performance expectations.
  • Provide coaching and training to both new and current team members to meet and exceed quality and productivity targets
  • Oversee fulfillment activities including receiving, put away, picking, and shipping as well as outbound team to ensure accurate and on-time fulfillment and shipment of all customer orders
  • Support fulfillment activities for Internal Selling, Custodial and Power Sellers. 
  • Achieve key metrics across supply chain and operations.
  • SOP adherence for product flow in the Authentication Center
  • Assist in investigating inventory discrepancies, find root causes, develop and implement solutions to inventory management processes.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, customer service, transportation, product, and other teams as necessary to identify and resolve issues that impact inventory
  • Update production metrics, as applicable based on site need
  • Maintain standard operating procedures
  • Work cross-functionally with all departments to identify, develop and execute on process improvements
  • Troubleshoot any technical issues that arise throughout daily shifts
  • Manage team workflow on the Operations floor throughout daily shifts
About you
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in quality, authentication, or a related field - preferred
  • 1-2 years of work experience in authentication or operations
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Comfortable strategizing, managing processes, and executing
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate team members
  • Ability to manage large workloads and prioritize tasks
  • Strong knowledge of sneakers/streetwear across major brands
  • Significant experience in reviewing and authenticating sneakers/streetwear or experience in product authentication role
  • Product knowledge of streetwear manufacturing and ensure SOP is being adhered to
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication, and the ability to build trust and consensus amongst a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Drive, Slack, and other common basic office software
  • Significant experience in operations/warehouse environments, preferably in a StockX authentication center
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to lead, mentor, and motivate team members
  • Strong organizational skills and experience with strategizing and delegating tasks
  • The sense of urgency to perform tasks to timelines
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude are a must
  • Ability to work well in teams and good communication skills
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial work environment

Working Conditions
  • The Verification Center is a warehouse environment with working conditions found in a typical warehouse setting. Closed toed and closed heel shoes are required. Team members in this environment will be required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, turn, and pivot more than 75% of the time.
  • May push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds (or 23kg); on occasion a team-lift of up to 100 pounds (or 45kg) and may be required to bend, twist, kneel and squat regularly.
  • This role may require you to ascend or descend ladders, stairs, ramps, and the like on a frequent basis depending on site location

Pursuant to the various pay transparency laws/acts, the base salary is $20.00/hr plus opportunities for benefits (e.g., medical, dental), equity and discretionary bonuses. Compensation is dependent on geography and may vary.
