Let’s talk about the role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Analyst to join our growing team. This role will support financial reporting, analysis, and accounting operations while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of financial information. The ideal candidate is an accountant at heart, detail-oriented, analytical, and committed to maintaining accurate financial records and supporting sound business decisions.

As an Accounting analyst, you will:

• Perform basic accounting duties i.e. bookkeeping of transactions with specific vendor categories and bank transactions, bank reconciliations of the company’s banks;
• Μonitoring of vendors’ balances and relevant accruals by performing monthly reconciliations;
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation;
• Cooperate with the external accountant for filing and remitting taxes (Vat, Corporate Income tax, Withholding taxes);
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and internal controls;
• Supports ERP reporting with regards to budget and financial statements;
• Participate in the analysis of financial results;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making;
• Assist with audits and respond to auditor inquiries;

What You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration in Finance/ Accounting;
• 2-3 years of combined financial reporting/accounting experience in a relevant position 
• Basic knowledge of IFRS and local accounting GAAP;
• Excellent working knowledge of MS Office and particularly Excel;
• Previous experience in Microsoft Business Central will be considered as an asset;
• Highly analytical, detail oriented and proven ability to manage new ideas and creative solutions;
• Fluency in the English language (both oral and written);
• Strong organizational, planning, quantitative and problem-solving skills; strategic and creative thinking;  
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
