About the Role

We are looking for a Software Engineer-II (Data Engineering) to contribute to the design, development, and optimization of our data platforms and pipelines. The ideal candidate will have 5–8 years of experience in data engineering, a passion for building scalable systems, and a proactive attitude towards solving challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement efficient data pipelines and workflows to support analytics and business intelligence needs.
• Build and maintain scalable data processing systems using tools like Apache Airflow and AWS services (e.g., S3, Glue, Redshift).
• Develop and optimize ETL processes using Python and other relevant technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data solutions with business goals.
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and scalability through monitoring and proactive optimization.
• Stay updated on emerging data technologies and suggest their adoption to enhance systems.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5–8 years in data engineering, with hands-on experience in building and optimizing data pipelines.
• Technical Proficiency:
• Strong experience with Apache Airflow or similar workflow orchestration tools.
• Familiarity with data storage and processing on AWS (e.g., S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift).
• Proficiency in Python for data processing tasks.
• Data Skills: Understanding of data modeling, ETL pipeline architecture, and best practices.
• Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and align technical solutions with business needs.
• Communication: Clear and effective communicator with a problem-solving mindset.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to tools like Apache Iceberg or reporting platforms such as Looker.
• Interest in continuous learning and staying updated with the latest trends in data engineering.
