Senior Program Manager

Storable is looking for a Senior Program Manager to help facilitate our software development process with a focus on tracking, aggregating, and communicating risks, dependencies, milestones, and roadmaps at the cross-team level. You will collaborate with cross-functional, highly skilled engineering teams in a fast-moving environment where everyone’s common goal is to deliver outstanding outcomes while having fun. As a Senior Program Manager at Storable, you must be passionate about communication, group dynamics, and coaching. You are not afraid to raise issues and drive change to remove impediments on behalf of teams. You should be comfortable working with more than one team in an open-ended environment where roles are flexible, everything is changing and communication is essential.

What you’ll do every day:

● Fostering strong partnership and collaboration with Product Managers and Engineering Managers to understand outcomes, team milestones, and delivery owned Product-level
dashboards that represent desired product outcomes, milestones, accomplishments, risks & mitigations, and KPIs.
● Facilitate cross-team coordination where more than one team exists within a Product
● Ensure teams are following Storable best practices through either facilitation or empowerment ,  Ensure teams are striving for continuous improvement through Post Mortem's Raise urgent issues appropriately and drive them to closure in a timely manner
● Ensures transparency & effective reporting
● Enable execution across multiple teams and drive delivery
● Owns risk management & removing impediments from teams, escalating issues when necessary.
● Drive internal process improvements across multiple teams and functions
● Collaborate with Engineering and Product Enablement to establish and drive the adoption of program frameworks, tools, and standard methodologies.

What you need to bring to the table:

● Is able to work with teams within 3+ products or work with 3+ teams in one product
● Is able to coach the team on the why behind agile practices and processes making them more efficient and self-managing
● Is able to take on, evaluate, organize, and clearly communicate a complex, unique need for a product or the organization, where analysis of the situation or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors and looking around the corner for what we may need to know next.
● Is able to mentor other Program Managers

● Is able to determine the appropriate metric for the audience
● Is able to identify problems and present solutions to functional leadership with little to no guidance

● Typically requires Bachelor’s Degree with 7-10 years related experience or PMP or Agile Project Management certificate and comparable work experience

● 7+ years of experience as a Senior Program Manager (or equivalent)
● Servant Leadership; not a command & control leadership style
● Exemplary verbal and written communication
● Ability to build strong foundations of partnerships and accountability
● Experience operating autonomously across multiple teams, demonstrated critical thinking skills and thought leadership
● Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders successfully without formal authority and lead cross-functional teams across geographies
● Experience working in a Product focused environment; not a project-oriented environment
● Proven ability to identify, analyze, and solve ambiguous problems independently with extreme attention to detail
● Strong understanding of Agile (Scrum and Kanban) and DevOps principles and practices
