Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with over 6 years of experience in highly responsive and scalable web applications development. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in our development team, driving the creation of innovative products and features to address industry-specific challenges.

Storable RV  Division

This position is specifically focused within Storable’s RV (recreational vehicle) and Campground Division. You’ll be working to engineer and maintain software that assists marinas and other operators with bookings, point of sale, customer management, and industry-specific tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of new features and products, leveraging expertise in React, Node.js and latest cutting edge technologies within the software industry.
  • Spearhead infrastructural changes, setup, and development for our software. CI/CD, AWS EC2 instances, lambdas, etc.
  • Identify technical debt within the system and devise strategic plans for resolution and implementation to enhance our solutions.
  • Mentor and guide team members, providing technical leadership and support while fostering a collaborative and learning-oriented environment.
  • Collaborate effectively within an Agile environment, contributing to sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Conduct unit and functional testing to ensure robustness and reliability of developed solutions.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, employing analytical thinking to tackle complex challenges.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in full stack JavaScript/Typescript development.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
  • Proven ability to mentor and guide team members.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
