About the Senior/Principal Product Manager Position:

Stord is transforming the face of supply chain management with our modern platform of tools covering Order Management (OMS), Warehouse Management (WMS), Consumer Experience (Pre/Post Purchase), Demand Planning, and more. Our Product team is dedicated to solving complex challenges in an industry dominated by outdated software, empowering our customers to Sell More, Save Money, and Reduce Headaches.

We're searching for a passionate and experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the charge for our WMS product. This isn't just about managing a product; it's about revolutionizing how we do fulfillment and building the most powerful omni-channel WMS the industry has seen. You'll be the driving force behind our WMS strategy, roadmap, and feature prioritization, working hand-in-hand with engineering, design, and our operations teams to deliver solutions that make a real difference for our customers.

At Stord, our Product Management team has a front-row seat to the action. You'll see your product in motion every day within our own fulfillment operations, and will be able to drive meaningful improvements to our operational efficiency and customer experience. This unique perspective will allow you to deeply understand the needs of the business, ensuring our WMS delivers unparalleled efficiency, flexibility, and scalability but will also allow you to operate at scale with access to industry experts who understand exactly what you are building and why.

What You'll Do:

  • Set the vision, lead the way: Develop and communicate a clear and inspiring vision for Stord's WMS, guiding the strategic direction of the product. This is primarily an internal tool but it by no means takes a back seat as it is the heart of our fulfillment operations.
  • Own the roadmap: Create and maintain a prioritized roadmap that aligns with Stord's business goals and meets the evolving needs of our customers. Partner with our operations team to prioritize the features that have the biggest impact, helping scale Stord’s operations.
  • Stay ahead of the curve: Continuously research and analyze industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in the WMS space. Work with our industrial engineering and continuous improvement teams to explore new, innovative ways to drive excellence in the warehouse.
  • Capture the voice of the customer: You’ll have unparalleled access to industry experts who have worked across multiple WMSs and warehouses over the years, including some of the best in the business. Partner closely with them to gather requirements, translate them into user stories, and prioritize features for development.
  • Collaborate across the board: Work hand-in-hand with engineering, design, sales, marketing, and customer success to ensure seamless product development and launch.
  • Measure and optimize: Track key performance indicators, gather feedback, and identify areas for continuous improvement. The great thing about Supply Chain is that it is measurable. You can see an immediate impact and pivot if needed.
  • Be the WMS authority: Develop deep expertise in Stord's WMS technology and its role within the broader supply chain ecosystem.

What You'll Need:

  • Proven experience: 5+ years of product management experience in supply chain and WMS solutions.
  • Real-world expertise: Hands-on experience in warehouse operations, including receiving, putaway, picking, packing, and shipping. You know how a warehouse works, not just in theory.
  • Technical proficiency: Solid understanding of WMS functionalities, integrations, and data flows.
  • Strategic mindset: Ability to translate business needs into a concrete product strategy and roadmap.
  • Customer obsession: A passion for understanding and solving customer challenges.
  • Exceptional communication: Ability to clearly articulate product vision, strategy, and requirements to diverse audiences.
  • Data-driven decision making: Ability to use data to inform product decisions and measure success.
  • Leadership and collaboration: Ability to influence and work effectively with cross-functional teams.

This role is for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment. You'll be working directly with our operations and implementations teams day in and day out, ensuring our WMS meets their needs and exceeds expectations. We're looking for a leader who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and get involved in the details.

Preferred Experience:

  • Prior startup experience and familiarity with its fast-paced dynamics.
  • Experience with omni-channel & multi-tenant fulfillment strategies.
  • Experience working with 3PLs and understanding their specific WMS needs.
  • MBA or Master's degree in a related field.

OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
