Who You Are:

We are seeking a Senior Manager of Influencer & Partnership Marketing to join our Performance Marketing team and lead the strategy and execution of our Influencer and Partnership marketing programs across both e-commerce and B2B funnels. This role will be responsible for defining, executing, and managing our Influencer Marketing & Media Partnerships, working closely with teams across Paid Media, SEM, SEO, Demand Generation, Content Marketing, Design, Product, and Engineering to drive impactful and profitable partnerships. Additionally, this role will be a key partner to the Creative team, helping to shape our overall brand and organic social strategy by integrating insights from the Influencer and Partnership channels into content development.

The Senior Manager of Partnerships will oversee all Partnership media channels, including Influencers (YouTube, Social, etc.), Podcasts, Affiliates, and branded media partnerships while leading the day-to-day operations of the Partnership team. This role will be responsible for media buying, optimization, and strategy execution, ensuring that all partnership initiatives drive customer acquisition and revenue growth. The primary focus will be to identify and foster profitable relationships, uncover new ways to attract customers, enhance our brand and social storytelling through strategic collaborations.

As the go-to expert for Influencer & Partnership Marketing, this individual will be responsible for developing and implementing testing strategies, identifying key optimizations, and shaping the long-term vision for the channel. The ideal candidate is a strong collaborator and relationship builder with excellent interpersonal skills, capable of leading teams and managing partners independently. They should be a critical thinker and problem solver who understands the broader marketing landscape and proactively influences company-wide strategy. This role will contribute to marketing forecasts, track performance, and ensure alignment with channel OKRs.

Success in this role requires a passion for customer acquisition and expertise in media buying and partnership marketing. A deep understanding of performance metrics, media relationship management, and brand impact is essential, as well as the ability to negotiate and optimize media relationships within ROI targets. Performance will be measured by e-commerce bookings and B2B pipeline growth, ensuring strategic partnerships contribute directly to business success.

What You Will Do:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Partnerships team, acting as a player-coach to ensure efficiency and success for the team.
  • Own and manage Partnership media channels, including but not limited to Influencers (YouTube, Social, etc.), Podcasts, Affiliates, and branded Partnerships.
  • Develop and present strategic plans and goals (both short-term and long-term) for the Partnerships team.
  • Supervise and mentor Partnership team members, fostering a culture of autonomy, mastery, and purpose.
  • Identify and unlock new verticals via directly negotiated media deals while staying fluent in emerging opportunities.
  • Oversee media buying, optimization, and growth strategies, ensuring media and influencer partnerships drive customer acquisition and revenue growth.
  • Serve as the go-to expert for Influencer & Partnership Marketing, driving testing, optimizations, and long-term strategy.
  • A key partner to the Creative team, helping to shape the overall brand and organic social strategy by integrating channel insights into new content development.
  • Leverage analytics tools like Google Analytics, Salesforce, Google Sheets, internal dashboards, Excel, and more to extract insights on channel performance.
  • Track, update, and deliver against channel OKRs and goals (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually) with minimal oversight.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Product, Design, and Finance teams
  • Collaborate with other Marketing team members to identify opportunities for cross-collaboration, streamlining, and shared learning.
  • Evangelize the Influencer & Partnership channel across the organization; rapidly growing internal comprehension and influence 
  • Report key findings and recommendations to Marketing leadership and Storyblocks senior leadership.

What You Bring to the Table: 

Required

  • 7-10 years of experience in digital marketing, partnership marketing, or growth marketing, with a proven track record of scaling programs through strategic optimization
  • Extensive experience in large-scale partnership management, including contract negotiation, performance optimization, and strategic growth initiatives.
  • Self-starter, who has a vision and can make it up to life with little direct oversight.
  • Expertise in data-driven decision-making, with deep proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, Google Analytics, and other analytical tools to drive insights and channel performance improvements.
  • Proven ability to translate data and insights into actionable marketing strategies, executing against timelines while driving measurable impact.
  • A leader who proactively brings creative, forward-thinking ideas to evolve and expand Partnerships as well as broader Marketing team strategies.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with a track record of influencing stakeholders and securing high-value partnerships.
  • Ability to align organizational goals with marketing initiatives, ensuring strategic execution across managed channels and team.
  • Passion for contributing to the growth and culture of a fast-scaling technology company, with a bias for action and innovation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field, with a strong record of academic and professional excellence.

Preferred

  • Experience managing 12+month partnership contracts.
  • Proven ‘garden style’ team leadership
  • Familiarity with SaaS metrics (e.g. CAC, LTV, MAU etc).
  • Experience with revenue-based analysis (CPA, ROAS, LTV:CAC, etc).
  • Experience using enterprise social media platforms (e.g. Sprinklr, Khoros).
  • Experience with conducting CRO testing.
  • Agency and/or account management experience.

    • The annual base salary range for this position is $112,000 - $133,000. Placement within the range is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to: knowledge, skills, years & depth of experience, and equity with internal team members. Total compensation for this position includes an annual performance bonus.
