
Project Manager
Overview:
As a Project Manager at Story Cannabis, you will play a vital role in organizing, planning, and managing complex projects related to expansion and integration initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a proactive "hands-on" attitude, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently lead cross-functional teams in executing new store openings, integrations, and divestitures, ensuring adherence to specified deadlines and maintaining accuracy and efficiency throughout the process.
- Develop comprehensive project plans outlining tasks and responsibilities, and delegate tasks accordingly to team members.
- Manage the configuration, administrative management, publication, and technical maintenance of various corporate documents.
- Coordinate the acquisition management process for new properties.
- Miscellaneous corporate project management including, but not limited to, software integrations, departmental project management support for complex projects, and team support as necessary.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by senior management.
Requirements:
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail in executing and reviewing work products to ensure the delivery of high-quality results.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and leadership abilities, with experience in influencing and executing initiatives at the executive level.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and the ability to translate complex ideas into clear and intuitive communications.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
- Proactive and independent work ethic with the ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines.
- Solution-oriented mindset, capable of strategic thinking and leveraging good judgment to develop scalable processes and escalate urgent matters.
- Experience with management of legal documents is highly desirable.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Computer Science, Business, or Engineering is preferred.
- Minimum of three years of relevant experience in project management.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, CAPM, or comparable credentials are highly desirable.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work for prolonged periods sitting at a desk and using a computer.
