
Inventory Supervisor
Job Responsibilities:
- Exemplify dedication, service, organization, pace, positivity, and energy.
- Uphold and promote the Company’s mission and culture; provide essential support to the General Manager in fostering store culture and inventory accountability.
- Guide, inspire, and uplift the team by conducting training and performance evaluations, ensuring alignment with the company’s values and goals.
- Equip store employees with updated training materials, deliver training sessions, and recognize the staffing requirements. Create depth in the team to efficiently handle company initiatives.
- Adhere to and enforce company policies and procedures for customer service, staff management, customer and visitor relations, inventory, cash management, state compliance, safety, and security; ensure team compliance with these procedures.
- Collaborate with the General Manager to identify and implement process enhancements to facilitate store growth.
- Conduct daily inventory checks, document daily and monthly sales by category, and maintain consistent accuracy.
- Forge a robust relationship with the buying and supply chain team; oversee, regulate, and ensure optimal inventory levels.
- Ensure meticulous handling of cash, both front of house and back of house.
- Address employee or customer concerns and complaints with tact and diplomacy.
- Possess an in-depth knowledge of cannabis – its types, chemical properties, effects, dosing, consumption methods, and quality parameters.
- Reflect professionalism in demeanor, actions, and speech.
- Comply with city and state regulations consistently.
- Oversee deliveries, formulate purchase orders, and keep precise records.
- Complete tasks and responsibilities as designated by the General Manager.
- Maintain the store's cleanliness and organization, with special focus on the vault and product sections.
- Efficiently resolve issues related to store point-of-sale, discounts, and customer concerns.
- Assist with various employee programs and team-building activities.
- Aid in coordinating both regular and special events, irrespective of the hour.
- Promptly report product-related concerns to the District Manager, Inventory Manager, and Retail Operations.
- Prioritize business needs, demonstrating adaptability. When necessary, postpone inventory tasks to address the immediate requirements of customers, the store team, or overarching business objectives.
Hiring Requirements:
- Preference given to those with experience in retail, restaurant, hospitality, or cannabis sectors.
- Bachelor's Degree or four years of experience in a medical clinic, management, customer service, or hospitality is desirable.
- 2+ years of Inventory Management experience in retail and/or cannabis.
- Familiarity with cannabis is highly desirable.
- Applicants must be aged 21 or older.
- Must have the legal right to work in the United States, with all necessary documentation provided.
- Applicants must agree to undergo a background check.
- Possession of a valid state-issued ID or U.S. Passport is required.
- Ability to occasionally lift more than 50 pounds is necessary.
- Must be able to either sit or stand for long periods of time
- Reliable transportation is required.
- Applicants should have no scheduling conflicts or restrictions.

Education:
- Minimum High School Diploma or G.E.D equivalent required, Associate Degree or above preferred.

New Jersey Pay Range
$18.55 - $18.55 USD
