Security & Safety Supervisor

Dublin, GA

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the overall safety and security of all employees and visitors within designated company facilities.
  • Provides direct supervision and guidance to Security and Safety Monitors.
  • Manages employee schedules, leave requests and timesheet approvals.
  • Updates security and safety policies to ensure they reflect current operations and meet regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Ensures routine audits and inspections are completed according to schedule.
  • Conducts initial investigations regarding safety incidents; violation of policy, compliance regulations or law.
  • Assigns work tasks through the Security service ticket system and dispatches contract security integrators in a timely manner.
  • Work on special projects and assignments designated by management.
  • Coordinates with local first responders and regulatory agencies.

 Requirements:

  • Must be over 21 years of age.
  • Can legally work in the United States - all documentation required
  • Applicant must consent to a background check
  • Must have a valid State-Issued ID or U.S. Passport
  • Must be able to occasionally lift 50+ pounds
  • Must be able to either sit or stand for long periods of time
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must have no scheduling restrictions.
  • Employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of all pre-employment background checks.
  • Extensive knowledge of security and safety protocol and procedures.
  • Excellent management and supervisory skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to provide training on security policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work with confidential and classified information.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Ability to complete the OSHA 30-hour Safety Course within 60 days of hiring.
  • Other duties as assigned

Physical Demands:

  • Must have the ability to push, pull, or lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Must be capable of sitting, squatting, standing, kneeling, bending, or walking for extended periods.

Education:

  • Minimum High School Diploma or G.E.D equivalent required.
