Vice President, Finance
How you’ll make an impact:
As our Vice President of Finance, you will partner with our CFO to oversee the financial operations of Strata. You will help cross-functional teams make great financial decisions to drive our long-term growth, lead our monthly financial reporting process and build a best-in-class finance team. Every day you will interact with leaders and teams across our entire business. To thrive in this role, you must be a change agent who loves automation. In this role, you will:
- Build and mentor a high-performing FP&A team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Provide leadership and guidance to team members, empowering them to excel in their roles and achieve departmental objectives.
- Perform complex financial analysis to enable data-driven decision making across the organization including working with other departments as they develop strategies, establish objectives, and make decisions that could have a financial impact on the business
- Aid the CFO and Executive Team in the creation of the financial forecast and annual budget by developing robust forecasting models incorporating historical data, market trends, and business insights
- Conduct variance analysis to identify key drivers impacting revenue performance and provide actionable recommendations to drive improvement
- Meet with management team members to review progress against the financial plan and performance of departmental activities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive dashboards and reporting tools to track key revenue and margin metrics and performance indicators, with forecast accuracy as a key measure.
- Collaborate closely with product management, sales, marketing, and finance teams to ensure alignment between pricing strategy and overall business goals including analyzing the impact of different pricing strategies on key business metrics and recommend pricing structures to optimize pricing across all products.
What we’re looking for:
- CPA and/or MBA are preferred
- Proven ability to accurately summarize analysis with relevant points for executive presentations
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful pricing strategies that drive growth.
- Comfortable working in a lean, dynamic, informal, multi-functional organization with high expectations
- Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and deliver timely and quality results with a focus on accuracy and integrity of data
- Self-motivated and demonstrated ability to work and think independently, interpret and exercise professional judgment, creatively problem solve
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a core understanding of the importance of collaboration
- Experience in the software industry is preferred

The preferred location for this role is in Chicago, IL or St. Louis, MO. We value our people spending time together and have campuses hosting in-person events located in both cities. We are truly a hybrid environment with all team members experiencing the flexibility to work from home.
